Any good upgrade kits available out of Europe that you guys know of?
Thanks

You may have to clarify your question a little bit... What do you mean by: european turbo kit? turbo manufactured by an European company? And then, for what engine? I know of BBT in the UK upgrading standard TFSI turbos

I mean: a kit available through a European reseller or vendor. One that wasn't shipped from the US with VAT slapped on top.

Are you looking for a hybrid turbo: TTE or BBT(both UK based), or big-frame turbokits: AKS-tuning for Nortech GTX-series kits

Thanks, I checked the TTE website and messaged them (don't see any 2.0T kit for the B7). Do you have a website for BBT? I googled but found nothing.
I am looking for something that can give me 300whp in the usable powerband. Found a site called R-tech performance but I feel the power numbers they list for K04's based on the S3 are inflated (350-375 bhp).

the website of BBT: http://0afa09.7.ekm.shop/ (don't let the strange looking link set you off..)
the power claimed by R-tech(very good tuner btw) are based on the K04 turbo setup(K04 turbo, S3 injectors, decent downpipe and proper intercooling) and are very doable!

Ok, status:
  • TTE: don't carry a kit for the B7 2.0T
  • BBT: no response.

Thats about it for common upgrades for the BUL engines... so either this or custom if you want to go bigger!
I'm selling my forging kit(steel rods ands 83mm forged pistons) and a tubulair manifold and BIIIGG Xona rotor 8267 turbokit(600-800hp), but as your engine is longitudial, it might not fit due to the engine mounts and DP location.

I’ve recently fitted a BBT 430 to my b7. It’s the first one they’ve ever produced for a longitudinal engine. I haven’t had it mapped yet as still in the process of fitting the rest of my upgrades. But even on my current stage 1 tune the car feels a hell of a lot quicker!

You mean the "BBT K430"? There's very little info about it on their website, but it says its for the 1.8T. Not clear what's included, or if it fits the stock downpipe location. Can you fill in the blanks?

Yeah thats the one.

If you go on there Facebook page I think there’s more info. But basically any turbo they make for the 1.8t they can also make for the tfsi.

It’s plug and play. No modifications required. They take a K03, machine the internals and fit a much larger core. I think They also clip the blades and set them at different angles.

Turbo comes with a new revision DV and new N75 boost control valve.

On an S3 engine with forged internals it’s claimed this turbo can produce around 430bhp with supporting mods.

BBT think I should see somewhere between 380-400

Thanks,
I contacted them. Discussing the "K360" at 950£ plus shipping. What did you pay for the 430?
