As above, they’ve reduced the output on the s3 back down to 300ps, there are also new standard alloys for black editon and normal! Also removed extended interior package because of low uptake. And a price increase

Funny thing is it will cost you an extra £360 now to have 10ps less lolThat’s interesting! Maybe the value of ours will go up slightly

Just checked and there’s nothing about the TT at all, no My19 info whatsoeverAny idea if it's the same for the TTS Dean?
Any other info about the MY19 spec? New colours/colours gone? Extra options as standard etc? Thanks
You’d hope so considering the price increase!Any other info about the MY19 spec? New colours/colours gone? Extra options as standard etc? Thanks
I’ll be more interested to see if the new MY S3’s sound any different considering they’ll have this new filter thing310 or 300 makes no real difference except for those who like peeking at the guy in the next urinal
In the real world where no one needs more than about 180bhp IMHO but everyone chases bigger is better its quiet refreshing to see Audi bucking the trend

Those alloys actually look quite nice by Audi’s recent standards, they look similar to some R8 and M3 alloys. Here is a picture of the new Black Edition alloys wheels. They have also discontinued the 19' 5' arm- wing design.View attachment 159168

I agree with all of this, and is my thinking too, S being sweetspotI'm sure the next generation of S3 will have a few BHP more than the current model ... that is the way they go each year and I don't see a problem with that.
I have an RS3 at the moment and anticipate getting a new platform S3 when they eventually come out.
Other than missing that glorious 2.5 litre engine and the soundtrack that goes with it, I am pretty sure the performance of the new S3 will be pretty close to my current RS3.
I have had 2 x "S" cars prior to my RS3 (TTS and S5) and totally agree with the statement above that the S cars are the sweetspot.
Yes we would all sooner have an RS, but all factors considered (including purchase price) and the S makes the most sense.
In reality the S cars are not that far behind the RS cars in terms of performance.
The other driver will be cost as the facelift RS3 costs £5k more than I paid for my pre-facelift and no doubt the next gen RS will go up in price again and I aint prepared to pay that kinda money for a hot hatch - no matter how hot it is lol.
They are not really new as Audi put them on the old A5 BE. Personally i'm not much for them and they going take ages to clean!
Here is a better picture.View attachment 159169
