Dynamic rear lights

prob been covered several times, I’ve ordered a set of fl rear lights for my pfl, I also need to buy the module for the sweeper indicators, anyone know the correct one to get, I had the semi dynamic one on my old s3 8v but wasn’t as smooth a sweeping action as the oem one, anyone point me in the direction of the best place to get them, cheers

Not sure if they’re still in business but got mine from Audiamant for around £200 - they worked perfectly.

I am at AiTP10 however I would not be able to complete works like this on the day. I install as per OEM wiring and coding so would need the car for a few hours and would need cover in case the weather changes.

Yes however this retrofit is not just coding. There is wiring changes involved also.

Nice to have OEM wiring but modules are plug n play with no coding involved and prob easier to swap out if changing the car.

Due to the logistics of getting down to London, I ordered a set of modules €300
Company in Germany called K electronics
A guy I know in Glasgow showed me his one working and it was perfect so waiting on the delivery now, cheers guys for the help

Opened up my parcels today and I’ve got the modules from k electronics
Opened up the box from Tom Fox (crewe Audi) and the lights that were sent are the exact same as the ones I have
Pretty annoyed that I didn’t receive the fl ones I ordered !!

Didn’t you give him a FL car reg number to Work from ?

Saying that if it where me working at Crewe Audi I would’ve had that info to hand anyway...... not like it’s not a popular mod.

No I didn’t give him a reg but the emails sent clearly state it was the fl ones I want so I can have the dynamic sweeping indicators, been a simple mistake at their end bu the looks of it

Yes mate sounds about right, I was the same £560 plus the €300 for the modules
Took the back lights off and opened up the boxes and they are exactly the same as the ones on my car, not happy

They’ve gone up a fair bit in 2 years.

But as Rob said they do hold a good re-sale value.

First pic with the green plug is the module that plugs into the outer light, it’s a straight forward piggyback, on the inner lights the cars wiring loom has the original plug that goes into the piggyback module and the other cable coming from the module is smaller, I take it the fl inner light has a smaller socket for the smaller plug from the module ? Small plug is in last pic

I wrapped mine in pipe lagging so they wouldn’t rattle about as wiring for the outer lights sits behind the bumper .....

Yes the outer light has the bigger 6 pin connector

The inner one is a smaller affair
