Passenger Wing Mirror Won’t Adjust.

The passenger wing mirror won’t adjust on my A5, it heats up and folds ok. Have taken the glass out and everything looks fine. There’s no noise from the motor when trying to adjust.
I’ve got an error reader and can’t find anything that looks related.
Which module should I be looking at?
Any suggestions what could be wrong?

I’ve tried a new switch but it still doesn’t work.
what is really weird is that I used carista to set the passenger mirror to dip in reverse and when I select the drivers mirror and reverse then the passenger mirror dips. It’s really doing my nugget in!!

Mirror dip does not work on the F5 and B9. Thats why you don't have a working mirror adjustment. Set the coding back to original and then it works again.

It wasn’t working before I set it to dip. Although it only moves a tiny little bit.

Have you tried removing and refitting the mirror glass, incorrect fitment can restrict the movement, as you say, it moves a tiny bit.. Worth a look.

Yeah took the glass out to check it was all connected ok. There’s no noise from the motor, though it heats ok.
Have turned the mirror dip off just to be sure and still doesn’t work.

No apart from setting a couple of things on Carista I’ve never had anything done and it stopped working before I even got it.
