B9 Who actually owns one?

Well, I picked up mine on 28 February (Reg 1 March)

Loads of folks on here prepared to comment but who actually owns a B9 RS4. I saw a double in Chichester last week, anyone here?

From a laptop or mobile? If laptop then click on the 'Upload an Image', locate the file and happy days or maybe not. Uploads from a desktop site is a real pain as it only allows file size of less than 2MB or something. I don't do it and don't understand why people use it.

Mobile uploads are simple, just click on the icon encircled in the below picture (not the icon in the picture but the one on your mobile )

locate the file, select the image size and happy days! (The image I have inserted might be confusing to some )

By the way, I don't have an RS4 - if I was to ever get one it won't be a B9. It will probably be a B9.5 after Audi have fixed issues (if any) with this model.

Picked mine up 11th May. Shot below after being detailed and Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra and Evo applied. Very happy with it so far. Just completed the run in and managed to open her up a bit.

Got the Sports Exhaust, but still find it a little muted even in S mode with the Valves opened up. Hopefully Akrapovic will release their Exhaust which will improve things.

Thanks Addict. I would, but i prefer to have the option to be able to control the sound and make it louder or quieter. It's just a shame you need to be in Sport mode for the valves to open.

Yeah I agree, the option to open/close would be better (you can get remote control ones I believe). But for me the sound benefits of having them unclipped far outweigh the inability to close them up. Yes it’s loud and raw but that’s what I love about it now

If Akrapovic tips look anything like they do on their RS6 models, then i will sell my left kidney to pay the extortionate price.

Shame most of the titanium construction is hidden as it is a work of art, that Milltek and Remus can't match. Also, not a fan of Quad exhaust, prefer the stock oval tips.

@Addict, did you get your car mapped by JF Automotive in the end? I guess they are just using a piggy back box to achieve this? How are you finding it so far? saw some comment on the other thread about JFA not being too good by another member. Not sure if he had an RS4 though. I hear MRC are the people to go to for Mapping for VAG's. But i don't think they have cracked the new Bosch ECU yet.

Saying that... i think the car is fast enough.. but as i have not had the chance to drive it properly i guess maybe get "used" to the power later down the line.

That’s pretty much how I feel with mine. I think the tone from the sports exhaust suits the car...

Stunning! Just love how white shows off the lines so well. Taking my S4 for its first service next week and will trading in for one of two Glacier white RS4s in stock, one with carbon pack and another without.
