Black Rotor Alloys

Hi guys, I've got an S4 with 19" rotor alloys and fancy getting them refurbed to black with a diamond cut "sharks fin" around the edge. I think this is a standard TT-RS wheel offered by Audi but I'm struggling to find out whether the standard black is gloss, satin or matt, and I prefer to have wheels that are at least OEM looking, albeit not an option on S4's.

You can find a few results on Google Images but they always say "Rotor style", which to me says not official, but in the same style, though here are what I'm referring to...

These look gloss to me:

But these are satin looking (and they are from a Gumtree listing which even says they are satin):

It may be the case that there was actually both satin and gloss offered, but I'd appreciate any input as to which one is the most OEM (or both!).

For a TTRS, the only black they came in had red fins.

Other models such as RS5 or TT S Line may have come in different colour ways, but not the TTRS I do not believe.

Ah right, I’d seen the red ones and didn’t realise they were the TTRS ones. Could possibly be that there no OEM black and diamond cut versions - I’ll have a hint around. Cheers!

They look nice so if you’re sure that’s OEM then there are definitely matt black rotors, are there any gloss black I wonder? To be fair, matt looks nice - I have a black car so I wonder what matt black looks like against a glossy black car...

Nice silver calipers on that TT, shows nicely against the wheels.

I've got the S-Line Competition Package on my Mk II and the wheels are 19" satin/matte black rotors like the ones Slammed172 showed.

I believe this particular package was called the Amplified Black Package in the UK.

They look lovely. They suit the colour of the car really well.

I think the newer rotors available with the 8V RS3 have more of a gloss finish. They have a slightly different shark fin shape, though.

Yes, those are the ones! They're the only ones I can recall that have a glossy finish.

I've never seen the earlier rotors (as seen on my car) with anything other than a satin/matte finish. I'm not saying they don't exist, I've just never come across them.
