Finally got round to using my Autoglym lifeshine, very impressive stuff.

I bought them from ebay but they didn't fit like the factory ones so ended up painting my original covers with aluminium paint

Not the modification i planed to do this weekend but looks a lot better for it.
Decided to paint all the brake calliper’s
I removed the rears but chickened our with fronts and masked around everything.

What paint did you use and where did you get the sline badge please?

I just used normal paint from Halfords, have used this on previous cars with no issues, just two thin coats of paint and one coat of lacquer.
The badges are from eBay SLine then I cut them down using a dermal.

Would really like to do the Auto Hold modification - had it on my Golf R and really miss it on the S5 plus the blank button doesnt sit well with me. My only challenge is I have no confidence in my ability to do it without cocking it up. So if you live near Warrington and have done the mod I make a mean brew and have fancy M&S biscuits

Tha G meter doesn’t work on my car as it’s missing other coding or sensors, I use OBDeleven so you can use the app or go into dashboard 17 Adaptations - Acceleration Display - set to yes.
I have got the speed cameras working but there should be 4 files but I have around 30 so I need to find a different way of downloading them, once I sort it I’ll Post how it’s done.
Yesterday I managed to get the audible warning to work as you approach each type of camera.

Loving all the retro fits you are doing, out of curiosity how much and how easy is it to do the ALA stalk swap over?

Was the speed cameras done via OBDEleven long coding?

You can add lane assist and change the 'severity' of its impact without the stalk but just cant fully turn it off. Personally I really didnt like it and had it removed a few weeks later.

If you press traction control into sport it disables the lane assist. That’s how i turn it on and off at the moment.

Didnt know that! Never found it that useful really it seem to sometimes move me when I didnt want it too or almost fight against my input.

The lane assist Stalks are around £250 from Audi, fitting is not that hard but you need someone with VCDS to set the steering angle sensor as it can`t be done with OBDeleven but you can then use OBD to code in lane assist.

I used https://www.pocketgpsworld.com/ to get the camera data base then use this app to load them onto https://github.com/mcaddy/audipoi/blob/master/Releases/SpeedCameraToPoi/v0.9.1.zip?raw=true then copy to SD card then load them into MMI

I wasn't a fan until i fitted the stalks with on/off button as i found it annoying on twisty country roads, now i have it set to high on every setting and its very good especially on motorway driving.

Today I had half a day off work and decided to fit my Audi front & rear traffic cam recorders, very impressed at the quality.
Fitting is not the easiest and no instructions are included.
But it’s all working in car and on phone App.

I used the small application to download the files from PocketGPSWorld and create the SD card.

Also tried via My Audi but the special destinations bit is always offline and says it's overloaded so couldn't use that.

Hi Dave,

I don't have access to the diagrams but HappyDayz is pricing this up for me along with the folding mirrors, I've also enquired about the side assist at the same time.

I have the massage electric seats that come in the S5 but was amazed they don't have memory as standard, same as the convenience key. Thankfully ours has the convieience key and I suspect the memory seats is just the buttons, mount and a connection to the door control and coding. Not got anything to reference though as the new models only have manuals and diagrams online I believe?
