As regulars know l got this wax the other day.....short term application review...ATM....
1.The wax is luxuriously packaged ....Box,sack,jar all special...price was £80 after discount....it's £88...for 100g normally
2.Smell...it smells really nice....sweet smelling... reminds of a perfume that a burd wore that l use to go out with in the late 80's...lol
3. Application....Prior to application all panels where machined polished using Scholl S40... erm....it's kinda grabby on application....but l don't think the Macguirers applicators where a perfect match for this wax.."too thin/flimsy" and l am not a fan of these from years back....but l had to try out this wax today,it comes with 2 ceramic coating block applicators why??? l have'nt a clue,Application.

4.l cross hatched in straight lines....for the best coverage,Fireball says apply in straight lines...so i did so and also very thinly of which is very difficult as it's like spreading clay over your paint...hence grabby, they also say after application don't let strong sun or water near it for 24 hours!!! this limited me to... only applying the wax to some of the car ie...the 2 drivers side doors,2 front wings and bonnet and the 2 wing mirrors as the rest of the car at this time of year is in direct sunlight after 3 pm on my driveway

5.Removal....after a 15 min cure....is easy, best wax ever i have used as far as removal goes......gloss is off the scale...when buffed off.....could even see ma Kenny Rodgers stubble on my chin....off the doors....which is a feat in itself on a light coloured paint....

6. l will finish the car off tomorrow.....it was a warm and windy day up here today and the car is now covered in pollen and dust....so not ideal for applying kit like this outdoors

Will post photos tomorrow after l have covered the full car, again getting familiar with a product is the secret l think...so hindsight... l should have used the applicator l got with the Autoglym UHD wax...should make application easier as it's a lot more sturdier

Well l finally finally finished the application yesterday hard graft the Autoglym UHD applicator was useless so l resorted back to the Macguirers ones l had bought
Curing time is a problem with this wax 24 hours at least, after application the afternoon sunshine began to hit the boot/rear bumper of my car, l could actually see the sun melting the wax l had applied a several hours previously and also from the day before, so l had to cover the car with bed sheets, it was 28/29 degrees at the time. Later on l Sprinkled some water over the bonnet to see how the beading went? It's identical to how EXOv3 or any ceramic would bead pretty awesome to be honest but it's this waxes curing time, is its achilles heel,, and in hindsight applying a ceramic coating would have taken me less time apply and it would cured quicker.. ... To be continued

Lol bsd won't ever bead like this mate as that retains too much water beads on the surface going by the photos posted, this stuff virtually leavesnothing on the paint surface, the fusion wax should last a few months, l only got 5/6 weeks from the UHD wax

I know, and given the cure time, I should hope it lasts some time. Every time I wax, just seems to be a dust and pollen magnet, so looking forward to the ceramic coating.

This wax is supposed to repel dust far better than yer normal wax, don't be fooled by covering yer car with only a ceramic coating they need another hydrophobic glass coating on top for maximum effect and gloss mate in a few months I'll show you lol, l am going to use the crystal Serum Light and the EXOv3 l have on my car

I don't blame you for that mate lol as you know l ain't shy on spending a few bob here and there on detailing products but l draw the with the Kamikaze double dunter ceramic costings, Kamikaze are bit like swisswax ie hyped up prices..... Been hearing great reports about the Gyeon stuff, think the coating is around £90 bangers

yeah im undecided so far, main reason im tempted by kamikaze is they reckon its easy to apply, and forgiving to remove.
carpro cquartz ive heard is pretty grabby on removal?

@jassyo06 - :wtf:£80 for a 100g pot ! You have too much money lol
Sounds way too much of a fussy product to apply mate

It's probably the most difficult product to apply l have ever used mate, they say give it 24 hours to cure but it won't if its too warm
Yeah £80 after discount expensive l know but hopefully it will endure extremely well, its like spreading clay over your paint very hard work, especially polishing every panel prior to it
I will post some photos this weekend once l wash it
