Headlamp/bonnet weather strip/seal?

Hi, please can someone help me source a part for my 2001 facelift A3?
I'm missing part of the 3-piece rubber weather strip that the bonnet sits on when closed. It's the piece over the left headlamp.

Is there an easy way to look up audi part numbers? Google hasn't turned up much for me.

best bet would be to give VAG parts a call. They are very helpful.

wouldnt imagine they would have these strips though........

saying that, is the S3 supposed to have 1?

VAG parts can get them. Send them an email. Was about £14 - I was going to order a lot from them but other expenses came up and I deleted the email.

I just noticed mine seem to have disappered to, sure they were on there last time I looked!

15: Sealing piece upper P/N 8L0823737 £4.20
15: Gasket left front P/N 8L9823711 £4.56
16: Gasket front S3 P/N 8L0823738 £4.20

Prices are approximate

Those numbes are based on the 2001 MY (Facelift)

Consult your Audi dealer with your chassis number for the correct parts, their going to be just as cheap as anywhere else

Cheers for the advice. I'm after no. 15 in your diagram grathies, although it appears to be in two pieces rather than the 3 I see under my bonnet (facelift also). Phoned Audi - part number they gave me was 8L0941191 and quoted £20 which is rather steep imo. Waiting to see if a spares request throws up anything.

Also, whilst we're on the subject, are any of you suffering from headlamp dirt/scratches that appear to be on the inside of the glass? It almost looks like someone has wiped them on the inside but not done a very good job (car is new to me).

that diagram seems to be the one from a pre-facelift

unsure as to what exactly im missing...... i definately do not have anything like the two pieces above my headlights like my old T plate A3 had

ok update....just rang Audi

Apparently

8L0823737 and 8L0823738 are left and right seals for A3's

8L9823711 are one piece which requires 6 clips..... specifically for S3...£6.16 plus 19p each for the clips - bargain!!!!
