Black Pack
Carbon mirrors
Red calipers

Light and vision pack
VC
Folding Mirros
Tinted windows

Car has just under 7k is there anything I should look out for when picking it up next Saturday?

Thank you, I would of loved the Carbon inlays but never mind. May have to speak to Projex UK to see if they could wrap them for me.

Not seen any major reoccurring issues with the B9. The ones I can remember seeing once or twice are the speaker grills rattling on the B&O setup, which they can fix by taking them off and adding some more sound insulation material. And also some knocking sounds from the suspension, which isn't a major mechanical issue just a part of the suspension setup which is out of place (often leaves the factory like it), which the mechanics can put into place properly. But I am not sure if that applies to the S4, which I imagine uses an upgraded and different suspension setup.

Congrats on the car it's a great spec you got there!

Finally picked her up yesterday. Had a nice long day in the car playing will and trying to get use to all the button and options.

Racked up a total of 230 Miles going to various Audi dealers for my girlfriend to test drive Q3s managed an average of 29mpg.

The exhaust noise is very addictive and if my girlfriend wasn’t in the car I probably would of done a lot less MPG

Swindon Audi were great to deal with and when collecting the car it was in stunning condition so hats off to them.

Will need to give it a quick clean and take more pictures with less bugs splatted over the front.

But here is the new and old car.

Lovely car. Had my Misano A3 for 9 years now and never grow tired of the colour.

Thank you @mister.c. It is a lovely colour on all Audi’s IMO, will get some more pics this weekend if the weather is as nice as it’s suppose to be.

Your car wouldn't happened to have been covered with the silver sheet and sat at the front of the showroom (RHS as you walk-in) by any chance?

@NLL no silver sheet treatment for me, which I don’t mind as I was like a kid at Christmas and just wanted to go and drive it

Gave her a clean today using my new carbon collective kit. Still gives me smiles everytime I drive it.

Also went to collect my girlfriends Q3 yesterday which she is over the moon with and on the way home had a play with a Porsche gt3 which couldn’t shake me which made me love the S4 even more.

Ordered some goodies today from Al at Awesome GTI which should be here around 15th of June.

I went for ECS carbon Grill accent set.
Carbon air filter box overlay and scoop.
ECS silicone inlet hose.

I like the grillle accent kit mate. I think I will add that to the list for my S4 when I get it along with the RS4 Grille.

Do you have the front radar system because it looks to me that the fog light accent could interfere with it's detection spread....

The RS4 Grille is next on the shopping list but I want to see how it looks with my grille before I do commit.

I didn’t think of that but luckily I don’t have the radar system so dodged a bullet there.

Waiting with anticipation to see how they look on your car, I’m looking for a front splitter to give a bit more agressive look and like the ECS one, the accents could be a nice addition to!

A wanted those accents but ecs say they don’t fit s4 bumper . Sad face

That’s strange As I used the ECS website for the part numbers. I will let you know if I succeed of fail when they arrive.

Oh aye a didn’t even realise you had an s4 there blonde moment. Sure when I saw them on ecs website it excluded s4 poss that they have made them for it now tho it was a while ago

Came home to a package that I forgot about to be honest.

So like a kid at Christmas I opened it as fast as possible to see what was inside.

I then went to the garage and fitted the carbon intake scoop, carbon air box cover and ECS Tuning inlet Hose. I forgot to take a before picture.

I temporarily stuck on the fog over lays to get an idea of how they would look as they are more aggressive than I was expecting to be honest. (They do fit flush) I may hold off fitting them until I get a front splitter because it looks a little out of place.

Carbon airbox looks great.

Not sure about the bumper accents though, are they fitted properly as looks like a big gap at the bottom?

I’ve been considering the front lip extension and splitter but very expensive so just waiting to see what other subtle splitters are released.

Thanks I do like the carbon airbox. I need to get the Ecs cover as it’s a little bit of an eye sore.

It does fit flush but I haven’t fully committed to fitting them until I get the front splitter . It was just a little insulation tape holding it now so we’ll on there.

Look forward to seeing the finished result with that front splitter.

I think some of the carbon side skirts fins would finish your car off nicely.

Managed to find and order a front splitter I liked, didn’t go for the ECS one as I don’t think for the money it’s very noticeable.

I found a pure carbon splitter from a company called ECOtune, estimated delivery mid July so not to long to wait.

Went for a spirited drive around Cheddar Gorge last night which ended sooner than planned due to a puncture through the side wall of my conti sport contact 6. I heard the tyre walls weren’t the best but until this happened and damaged my wheel in the process I was loving them.

You can see in the pic it’s gone through off the rim I presume and out the side wall.
I’m going to change to Michelin PS4 today on the front.

I agree but I think I may get the side fins wrapped in carbon as the carbon addiction is getting expensive and I want to save for tuning plans in the future.

Update: finally my splitter has arrived which I’m going to get fitted next week hopefully. I put it up to the bumper and it looks great but there may be a slight fitting issue, where it doesnt really flex i can’t see it fitting very flush which will annoy the hell out of me.

Also fitted a carbo ecu cover which makes the engine bay look much better. Tidying up Audi’s silly mistake of leaving it exposed.

i do like the ecu cover i agree the stock looks unfinished .. how much was that cover?
think it might look out of place as its the only carbon thing on the car

seen this seems reasonable however not 100% sure is it safe?

I don’t see the one from Ali express being a problem. I haven’t ever used them, but hear of bad experiences. The carbon one from ECS through awesome GTI was £112 plus postage.

Not got the side on yet Aaron

Hi, I did manage to get them fitted last weekend, they were a pain to fit Because In some places the double side tape wasn’t strong enough to keep the amount of pressure needed to keep it flush. So I used a black gasket sealant to hide the tiny little gaps you could see close up which worked out really well.

very pleased with them and thank you im oven the moon with them. Need to get some better pictures but haven’t had chance to clean the car since fitting them.

In terms of the ECU cover, I'm just a bit concerned that they left it exposed because they needed to for heat? The engine bay gets hot and the ECU looks like it's basically just one giant heat sink as it is?

I can see what you are saying but in this country I can’t see it being a problem, maybe in Las Vegas or Australia.

Maybe, but the S4 gets very hot under the bonnet if you’re not moving at a decent pace... I like the look of it but I’m not going to risk it personally.

Managed to get the front splitter, rear spoiler and fog overlays fitted today.
Looks lots more aggressive now.
Also a massive thanks to @Spaceman_RS3 for the sideblades and @rasA4 for the eBay link.
Car is coming along nicely, next will probably be some spacers and some coilovers.

Hopefully the weather is nice on Monday and I will give it a damn good clean.
