Just wondered if anyone has experienced a similar issue that I’ve had a couple of times in my S3 since I got the car just over a year ago. I know the S-Tronic box is known for occasionally being slow / slightly jolty when cold but I don’t think what I’ve experienced falls into that catergory.

A few times when pulling off the car sets off fine initially then seems to kangaroo backwards and forwards and doesn’t accelerate smoothly, picked it up on my dashcam the other day (apologies for the call in the background :tearsofjoy:) it doesn’t really show the jolting very well as it’s actually quite violent in person but if you listen to the acceleration it doesn’t sound very smooth.

Just wanted to get peoples thoughts to make sure I wasn’t wasting my time booking it into the dealers :footy:

Throttle sensor maybe ??

Throttle sensor maybe ??
Not sure to be honest it’s only happened 3/4 times since I’ve had the car in the past 6 months or so, if it was the throttle sensor don’t you reckon it’d occur more frequently?

I've heard of other people having similar issues on other brands, even though it was intermittent it turned out to be throttle sensor/throttle pedal, but I may be wrong mate. Have you had it on a diagnostics or get someone with VCDS or OB11 to identify a fault code.
