Well I've finally bit the bullet and I am moving on from the A4 B9. I have had 2 x B9's and they have been great cars, but I wanted something a bit more fun so I am returning to an A3, but in S3 Sportback form.
Nothing against the A4 at all and I'm sure you guys will enjoy yours for many years to come. :respekt:
I'll continue to peruse this section and offer any (limited) knowledge I have. :friends:
Ciao.:blownose:

I did the opposite .. owned an Brand new S3 3door for 6months before ordering an S4 avant and having to wait almost 6 months for delivery.. 361 days later the ‘beast’ Arrived ..

Enjoy the S3 .. great little car .. when you get bored .. the big brother is a little what you are used to but in beast form :yahoo:

I’ve got to say, I’ve found my S4 more fun than the S3 I had previously, mostly due to the engine/noise/stability....but the S3 is still a super little package so sure you’ll enjoy it mate and a good step up from your current A4 performance wise.

Haha, took one on a test drive and it was awesome but when we looked at some figures on an S4 it was to much over my strict (wife) budget. I have pondered over this decision for a while and tried other brands but for price, practicality, looks and budget, the S3 ticked the boxes. Cheers.

Thanks.
Yup, S4 was great but out of my price range. but the S3 will be a hoot compared to the A4 190ps tdi.

Lovely I bet the S3 is more driver oriented? Smiles per gallon while you test it. Happy driving. Thanks for the pics.

Thank you, I've edited the pics slightly (look brighter) and they are in the "Post pics" section.

Will it be parked overnight outside your house, or do you have somewhere a little less exposed to bandits? I’d love an S3 but they are so nick-able I’d be worried about losing it. Lovely car, though, and the interior is a real step up from the A3.
