Buying advice..

New to the forum, currently running an e class Mercedes 220cdi agm Line

Time to move back to Audi A5 sport back after 3 mercs

Questions on what to buy, this cars my office and covers 35k per year minimum.

2.0 diesel ultra the way to go power vs economy wise? 190bhp one?

No hybrid yet?

Options for the must have mobile office ?
Tech pack etc?

Wheel size, 19’s look great but what suspension for a motorway cruiser ?

Any other must have options? I want life to be as nice as the Mercedes!

Anyone know anyone good for business lease on such mileage ?

Ive got 19s on my A5 and on the motorway it cruises beautifully on the s line suspension.

Mine is the standard 2.0TDi with the auto box (love it!)

Economy wise I topped 58MPG last week on two separate runs to Cirencester and Birmingham - both with motorway but some country roads and both with 3 or 4 people in.

I’d go tech pack given the choice but not too fussed around virtual cockpit. If I was high mileage then I’d look at the sunroof to make the cabin even better!

Not a fan of the virtual cockpit then? I’m surprised at that as most people say it’s a must? Saying that I haven’t seen it in the flesh yet.

The 190 diesel is a good lump (had it in my last A4). But now changed to the petrol. Personally the way diesels are getting stick at the moment, I wouldn;t want to be selling a second hand one in 2 or 3 years time.

On my A5 I have Auto box - best gearbox I've ever had, Tech pack including VC, Folding mirrors, LED Light pack and that's about it. The only things I wish I had spec'd was the larger petrol tank (no cost option) and the reversing camera (once you use one you'll see!).as I though it was in the tech pack but it's not. I've the the s Line and although it's firm on country roads, it corners like it's on rails with no lean.

Not really sure about lane assist, etc. never had a car with it, but it may be like the rear camera, once you've had it you will always want it

Daytona grey. I love black but takes so much maintenance to keep looking good.

I think the VC is OK but I don’t miss having it !!
