Air con is working fine on driver's side but warm on passenger's side. Before I book the car in with Audi I want to try and locate the heater flap motor to see if there's any issue with that. I've had the glovebox out and there are 5xV157 actuator motors. My belief is/was that they all controlled air flow rather than temperature but I am being lead to believe that the bottom-most one on the side of the centre console may control the temperature doors but looking for confirmation either way.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Any pointers would be gratefully appreciated.

To rule out the problem being low gas levels I have booked the car in for a recharge.

If you have access to VCDS try the realignment procedure for all the flaps. Takes about 30 seconds and you will hear all the flaps making a noise when its happening.

08 Climatronic - 04 basic setting - channel 001 - takes about 30 secs to realign.

Cheers mate. Yeah I did that before posting and should have maybe mentioned. But what you have me thinking about is that when it runs the tests it states which flap/motor it's testing every 30 secs and I think I remember seeing the heater flap being mentioned! I'll check that again over the next few days.

I've booked it in with Audi anyway for a A/C service in case the gas is low as I've read that if it's low it can result in only one side cooling.

Just an update on this; as I suspected it was the result of low gas. This resulted in the passenger side struggling to blow cold air.
