yourAudi - Track New Car Order

I'm lookimg forward for my 210 mile trip from south birmingham to carlisle at 7 in the morning! Should be eventful anyway!
Mate, I would seriously reconsider. I drive around Warwickshire and the midlands and south Birmingham. The roads are treacherous around here and my TTRS was really struggling today. Took over two hours to go 18 miles earlier. Not worth pranging the car or getting caught up in all that.

My dad has driven a rwd e220 around 300 miles today and is currently driving from bham airport to sheffield as we speak, spoke to him on phone he said it's not too bad on motorways just avoid the idiots.

On the train? Are they running, mines cancelled so doing something else
Virgin trains from london to carlisle have a couple of routes. One train passes through birmingham and the other skips out birmingham and a few other stops. The one that goes through birmingham has been terminated at preston the last few days however the one which skips out birmingham has been going all the way to carlisle. Obviously there are various delays etc but most trains have been making it all the way. Having said that, I will be avoiding the trains as they are too unreliable in this weather. I'll be driving a range rover up the m6 instead.

If you could avoid idiots then there would be no accidents! It’s not your driving it’s others and if someone behind you doesn’t break then it doesn’t matter how careful you are. The result will be your car is damaged and the chances are your car is the new valuable one and the guy that hit you is in a old banger...

Just pulled up at Carlisle Audi, literally no problems at all, m42, m6 toll and m6 all the way up blue skies half the time and roads perfectly clear. @Phil3 come get your car mate!

Nice one mate... I’m all set to get it later on this afternoon, I’ve just been sorting transport out for it and the salesman is heading in later too :sunglasses: Shame we couldn’t have been there the same time mate

Pah, we had the summer wheels and tyres put back on the C63 on the morning of March 1st and I drove it 30 miles north to Northampton Audi where it was being part ex'd. The only struggle was reversing into a parking bay in the dealership car park.

Mines left Grimsby and is now on it's way to the PDI center in Newport and then finally Cardiff Audi. Can't wait. :racer:

How long does it generally take in peoples experiences from the car starting production to collecting?

Thanks

It's on the boat according to the tracker, so should hopefully update to being in the UK tonight!

I have a build date now of 28th May, ordered on 4th April. Seems like a life time away.

keep an eye on your progress bar on the Audi website cause it may even start building before your original build date :thumbs up:

Just looked on the Audi website and the build date has moved forward by two weeks and is now 14th May, hope it stays that way. Also managed to view the order status by using Firefox browser which formats the info where as others do not.

How long does the car typically stay in quality control? I’m guessing a few days but how has everyone’s sat there for?

They a

They all do. Your car will be in QC the day your build week was due to start.

Spot on. Build date was originally today but has just been updated to ‘in transit’

How long have people typically waited from now to being at the dealer.
I’m assuming 3 - 4 weeks. Is that about right?

Looks like my car will be at the dealership on Thursday!!!!!!!! Pity I’m flying to New York that day lol
So week on Wednesday-Thursday I’ll be picking it up because of the bank holiday.
Wednesday will be 6 months and a day since I ordered it lol never waited so long for a car.

Log on to your Audi.co.uk account and then open a new tab and paste this into your URL but make sure you enter your order number at the end of the link.

https://www.audi.co.uk/myaudi-public-api/services/v1/orders/yourordernumber

Best web browser to view it on is Firefox

Appears this isn’t working for me now.
Same link with the correct order number, but I’m now getting “Http status 404-not found”
