Dipstick part number?

Has anyone fitted a dipstick to a B9?
I know I can see the oil level from inside the car. However I want to physically see it also I want to see the colour of it.
Would be grateful for a part number I’ve asked Crewe Audi they don’t have a part listed and was advised to ask on here.

Don't know the part number but I do know from conversations with my mechanic about these things that you will find they'll have a part number for exactly the same dip stick on the same engine for a different model.....

If there isn't one listed for the b9 then it might be difficult. However the 2.0tfsi engine in our cars is a variant of the ea888 so maybe one from a b8 might be ok?
If not our good friends in the US of A use one manufactured for ECS https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-parts/billet-engine-oil-dipstick-black-anodized/018641ecs02-02~a/

I’m sure @jdp1962 jeff got one for his car. Iirc his is a B8.5

Thanks his is a big V8 I believe not a little 2.0 maybe it’s the same

I seen a video where 1 guy had to cut the top of the plastic dipstick. Not what I really want to do but might have to

V6 but still obviously a different engine from yours @rasA4 . I seem to recall a thread in the B8 section that identified a part number for the 2.0 litre. I’ll have a dig around.

Good video, and a neat solution. The alternative I guess would be not leave it in place but just use it when needed.

yeah i guess i could just use it when i want to just replace the plastic cap normally, something to think about ill wait for Nilz to come back

Mine is in place and stays there, it litteraly skims the under cover of the bonnet.
