I gave the SQ5 a decent clean the other day and whilst it’s only done 3k miles I found it very hard to clean the metallic plastics on the front of it - particularity the lower spoiler edge which looks like its tarnished, not that it can as it’s plastic....

I am looking for some help as to what product to use. I’m scared that some products might damage the plastic. Was thinking t cut to start with....

Any ideas?

Try a dedicated glass cleaner but wash it first of course

Failing that a light compound polish Gtechniq composite polish is very good

I would be very wary of using any form of polish. I would start as mild as possible and work your way up in strength. All purpose cleaner (APC), tarex fallout remover, then clay. I finish my mirrors with Dodo juice red mist for a final bit of bling.
