Jeeez.... can get it on Amazon for like £20, give or take same price from Ebay USA after shipping.

Mind you... can it be used on like the doors? Would think the paint would fall out considering how you would have to hold the tool...?

Decided to clip the curb in a multi-storey today was hoping the rubber had saved me but no it’s damaged my V Spoke alloys instead, first time in 6 years of driving I’ve curbed an alloy and I’m really annoyed with myself :tearsofjoy: anyone have an idea of how much I will be looking at to get it fixed and whether it’ll be noticeable afterwards?

It's a fooker when it happens eh but the saviour is, they ain't that bad that they should need a full refurbishment, just a light milling around the outer rim £90/100

Yeah a real pain, about £100 is better than I thought. I was guessing around £200-300, still an expensive mistake though :whistle2:

I see you took off your battery cover..

That's not curbed, this is curbed....! :)

Curbed Wheel

Audi quoted me £80 for the first curbing I did which was a little worse than yours. Luckily I didn't get it fixed straight away as I did it again and the second time was a little more expensive at £5,500. :)

Ah that’s nasty, how’d you managed that? You make me feel a little better about my damage though thanks! I’m getting a quote tomorrow at the local Audi approved body shop / repairer, so I’ll see what price I’m looking at then :)

DIY. No cost other than a wee half hr. My curb mark was slightly larger and using some wet and dry, scotchbrite and autosol increase the radius on the edge enough as remove damage and re-apply lacquer. Try this before shelling out any cash. Extremely difficult to find on my wheel.

Looks like toooooooo much like hard work for most novice members
Has actually been pretty simple so far and done without taking the wheels off. OEM RS Grill needs a little modification in order to fit / clip in. If not for the delayed parking sensor mounting clips I would have had this fitted within 3 hours, with 45mins of that time being for modding / trimming.

To everyone interested in my little prang. I stupidly decided to go for some food during the mini beat from the east. I was going slow as was everyone, I turned right and the car said sod that I'm going straight on. I had a slight disagreement with the curb and the bill is £5,500. Externally it looks like a knackered alloy and nothing else, however its 2 new alloys, wheel hub, bearing, power steering something or other, steering rods, lots of other bits and bobs and a bit of painting to underneath the front bumper, oh and lots of warnings on the dashboard. They've had it since the 20th of March and there's no sign of it coming back anytime soon. Most expensive pizza I've ever had and it wasn't even nice. :)

.... and part 2. All finished bar the number plate. Always planned on mounting my own plate holder but it looks too busy with all the logos on it so now need to order the standard RS one I think.

Could you get a price n gimmie a quote for my s3
OEM Genuine Audi parts alone are gonna be around £1000 without any installation cost. I don't actually offer this type of retrofit service and the only reason I did this is 1) I managed to score a New and Genuine OEM Audi grill for the same money as a knock-off, and 2) my OEM Black Edition grill was cracked and needed replacing.

Crazy price that is, how can Audi justify that when a matrix headlight is only (he says) around £1600!

Lol a left Matrix light unit costs more than that to purchase as a part on its own.
