I see what you mean, like buying a Lambo and then watching the mpg... Nice to see a surprisingly high number from time to time though.

Maybe we have slight guilt .. after all, we’re not helping global warming... so have v6, but try to eek out best mpg can get ,,,

Its not insane to hope for reasonable MPG when you are not driving 'full time attack mode'. Its like an added bonus at the end of the day.
