I've done a search but couldn't find anything (I'm new here :welcoming:)

Does a Milltek fit a standard downpipe?
Or would I need the Milltek downpipe too?

The decat is all part of the downpipe. It is just a downpipe where the cat has been deleted. It should fit into a standard catback with a reduced. If you are looking for better quality I would check out BCS. People have talked about the Milltek welds cracking.

Spend the money and get a BCS custom exhaust and you wont look back

Yeah I think I probably will go down that root tbh.

But listening to some videos online of the BCS I'm not sure if I like the noise it makes (sounds likes its blowing ha) probaly terrible quality video

I have a resonated Milltek with cat and it sounds nice and deep - everyone comments on the noise.

Reading more into it I'm going to go with the Milltek just need to find Milltek turbo back for sale!!

I would really be looking for a non resonated one to fit a 3dr I'm sure the one in the sale section is for a 4 door :(

There's one on ebay but all the way in Aberdeen and haven't had a response asking if he will deliver

Pop me the item number as it could be a friend off mine who is selling it as he had it on gumtree

I had a Milltek which was fine although the back box welds did go and it sounded pretty good but the BCS howls at full throttle.

Sounds amazing.

@ShaneBe its not the friends that 1 other mate says he sold his one . If you want tell the guy someone in aberdeen could pick it up

Are BCS ever up for sale used? not sure if i can justify the extra atm and my concern is dB for track with the full BCS

That would be awesome if you could! only problem is the guy has 0 feedback on ebay and not replying to any messages, so i think it's a no go tbh

thanks though much appreciated!!

I cant see the point in changing the exhaust unless you change the downpipe as thats the restriction for stg2, not the std boxes

Occasionally yes but it’s a matter of right place and time unfortunately.

Is that power valve Alex, i know you said custom but in what way ?

Yes it’s a Powervalve system but it has the dump pipe from the turbo blended into a 90mm system with centre silencers and then one exit from the back box at low boost and a straight through at moderate boost and above.
