Splash Or Welcome Screen

Hi All

I have had my a5(b9) for over a week now. For the first time a welcome screen or boot up screen started up when going into the car. Should this come on all the time because mines certainly doesn’t. It looked pretty cool when it came on so I wouldn’t mind knowing how to configure the system to have it on all the time . Any ideas?

Just in case anyone is interested I restarted the MMI and the splash/welcome screen has popped up the last 2 times I have started the car. Hope it helps someone

The Car will activate the MMI system, when you unlock the car so you don't have to wait for the system to fully start-up, it's done by design, so 95% of the time you will never see the start-up screen

I have an Rns-e in my 59 plate S3 and i can get it to start up with the S3 logo. But not sure if it works with the mmi but worth given it a try if you have Vcd's go to module 56 channel 18 and hover or values and see if it shows your car .

There is a range of start-up logo's on the MMI system, but whatever is selected it will not affect being able to see the start-up screen each time you get into the car. It would annoy the hell of of me if I had to wait for the MMI system to boot each time I got into the car then start the ignition..
