Hi everyone,

A happy bunny here who’s just taken delivery of a B9 A4 Avant Black Edition 1.4 TFSI S-tronic in Ibis white.

I’ve enjoyed browsing the forum and picking up tips but thought it about time I said hello!

Would anyone be able to tell me how to quote someones comment in a thread I’m replying to from an iPad? I’m struggling if honest and on a busy thread my comments look a bit random!

Thanks in advance

Hi, welcome to audi-sport.net. Look forward to pics of your car. To answer your question, it’s quick and easy to reply to threads.

If you have read a post and only want to reply to one person, click reply at the bottom right of the reply box, that copies their post. You write your reply then post reply.

If you want to quote more than one post, press the quote button at bottom right of the reply box of each of the replies you want to quote. When you have f8nished clicking on the quotes you want to reply to, go to the reply box. This time at the bottom left of the box it will have a button to add the quotes you have copied.press that, it will ask you if you want to quote them all from the list you have picked up. Do that then you can answer all quotes individually by putting a reply in between each quote or just post a reply underneath them at the bottom and press post reply. You will get used to it.

You can also just write a post but tag someone in it that you want to see it by using the @sign followed by their username.

Hopefully that makes sense to you. Enjoy the forum :)
