8v RS3 Spotters Thread

A very unique market we are in mate may it continue
 
I saw one Nardo FL - not sure if it was saloon or sport back in central london a few weeks ago.

Also a few weeks ago I sat behind a Nardo TTRS and it sounded amazing. I think those of you with RS3 that complain about the noise need to be in a car behind it or standing by the road to really appreciate it.

Seen two RS3 Sportbacks today - a grey one in Banbury and then a blue one near Chipping Norton.

Anyone on here?

Not me, but I’m only 10 mins outside of Banbury so look out for a Riviera Blue RS3 when we collect in March
 
I'm not usually down that way, was out driving in the new motor :)

Saw an ara blue rs3 saloon with black pack this evening in reading oracle riverside car park. Rv67 .yy I think

Agreed when I had my panoramic roof it did sound loud especially under a bit of a right foot. I think the fl has better sound proofing than the pfl. Could be wrong
 
Nardo RS3 Saloon in Kilmarnock last night opposite Galleon Leisure. Prvt plate.
 
Seen 2 today

A white rs3 sat in the slow lane of the m1 just passing m62 junction just now driving seriously steady

And a black one at full chat passing a long line of cars between Bridlington and nafferton roundabout near Driffield (sounded beaut) at about 6.30 ish
 
Saw my very first RS3 saloon today in nardo grey

Oh lordy ! 'twas very nice indeedy !
 
FL nardo sportback in penrith today, 67 plate. Cant believe it was the first FL RS i've seen on the roads! taken a while.

Ara blue S3 sportback. Just visiting the lakes? I went up early morning with the camera for some car pics lol
 
FL sportback, red with black styling, black rails on the a65 heading towards Ingleton.
 
Parked next to a nardo debadged rs3 at Meadowhall

I keep seeing a metallic orange or pearl orange rs3 in Wakefield

Anyone find out the actual colour it’s lovely

Wouldn't ever recommend putting someones full reg plate online.

Always wonder why not. Plenty on Autotrader if people want to find one to clone. And the owner clearly isn't to worried with such a memorable plate!

I completely agree that people obviously see it out and about or on some adverts, but if someone has a shopping list of cars, they can come on here which I assume they would, they can find a reg and tag it back to a spec and get the address all pretty easily, I just think posting on here makes their lives a lot easier to clone or nick our cars.

Would be easier to go on Autotrader than trawl through a zillion posts to find a reg!

Amazing what a quick bit of code can do on a forum,

The RS3OC site also says no full registrations online. Just a friendly bit of advice that's all it probably doesn't stop them, but it definitely helps them on places like this.
 
I think dealers and insurers will scout forums more than thieves
As said thrives just go on auto trader or PistonHeads classifieds

The car spends its life in the centre of the city for all to see

all midday today, catalunya red??? RS3 FL sportback coming out of Oxenholme near kendal, Aar blue FL sportback gurgling through pedestrianised area in Kendal....naughty

Was the ara blue one a saloon? Lake district audi's demo, seen the red one around a few times also a white 8v knocking around, was the ttrs a mk1 on a private plate, seen one tonight at 5ish

no it was a sportback, but I know the saloon your on about....saw a young kid climbing all over the inside at the refurbed showroom opening last year....
the TTRS was mk3, im not a TT fan but it did look evil, you sound like you're very close to my area!

Near Ingleton, but in kendal a couple of times a week....very rarely used to see an rs3, now see one most days...people have good taste
