spoke to them, there are plenty of sets available within Europe as the housings go to a large warehouse and then distributed around and only restock 3 times a years but we are good :)

So, can we get 1 more or shall we crack on?

Tonight I will get a final spec list of what the options are as since the last ones some of the stuff I now stock is better like the Philips chrome Amber indicator bulbs, the LAST GB they where generic unbranded ones which where £5 and now for £9 you get a branded set.

Once that list is up can all members PM me what they would like, I will put a format of how I need it done so I can print them off and use them as your order sheet, once the spec is locked please try not to change it and have a long hard think before sending me it please.

we do need 10 people Minimum for this to go ahead and I'm sure all 15 here are eager but sometimes circumstances may change.

2 year warranty on projectors and bulbs.

As said, we need 10 people to get this going.

Please note that if not buying new level motors it will be down to you to fit these when the lamps arrive, they are tricky to fit and if you wanted to send the ones from your car for me to fit before the lamps are closed I am more than happy to do this for you as its easy when the lamps are open.

For those that also don't have interior LEDs or LEd plate lights we also have a fantastic kit that I can do you discount on if you wanted them. The INT kit for S3's is £39 and £5 for the plate lights, I will do them combined at £33.

Can someone shed some light on the differences with 4500k 5500k and 6500k. Is it yellow, white and blue tint to the colour?

Does mention it somewhere else in the thread, around page two or three. Basically I think you're about right colour wise. 4500 has best visibility, 5500 maintains that visibility but is whiter and with the 6500 you start to lose a bit.

Just replaces your standard sidelight bulbs (first notch on the headlight switch) with LED bulbs. A whiter light so it all matches.

Not much difference between LED high beam and ice white halogen apart from the look of the bulbs (see earlier in the thread), I’ve gone for LED purely because I don’t like the look of the ice white halogens when they’re off (blue bulb). This will only be your flash to pass anyway and then the bi-xenons will take over when the headlights are on. Just comes down to personal preference.

I’ve asked that question to ^

Also one more I’ve asked trups. I have a black s3 - and I want some part of the headlight trim in black, not all of it I think that will be to much “stealth”.
What are people’s thaughts?

I toyed with the idea of doing the above, think just having the back trim in black would be cool on a black car.

Think you’ve just made up my mind. Didn’t notice that photo! Cheers bud

@t8ups I have a couple of questions...

I am likely to go for 5500K bulbs. Would the LED side lights and headlights be a close colour match?
Would applying clear Lamin-X from new offer good protection against fading than an UV coat etc? I think @<tuffty/> did this, any comments?
Are the OEM sized ballasts inferior in anyway to the smaller (Hylux?) ballasts?
I already have some 'upgraded' clips for the motors. Can these be transferred from my Hella units?

Thanks

@t8ups; whats your thoughts re Halogen vs LED high beams?

Before I would of said stick with Halogen but not these new LED kits that's are here can surpass what the halogen will do, I wouldn't recommend the LED as a Dipped beam replacement as you would throw the beam out but for a high beam it works very well, What I may do later is get a halogen ice white in a high beam reflector from a split set of these lights and show you the differences.

You can do Lamix x or any other films but its at your own risk, I have read that Lamix x or that fly eye can cause heat stress cracks in the lens. A good Nano Sealant will keep it protected. - www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/nanolex/si3d-headlight-30ml.aspx (no affiliation or I have never used this)

For the clips again as I don't work with the OEM hellas I cant tell you if small bits like that are cross compatible.

So don't put the LED side lights in is that what ur saying @t8ups? That was what I was thinking of getting them put in and the ice white hologen high beam. Is that not a good combo?

LED sidelights and LED high beam are 2 separate things. Go with LED sidelights or you can keep halogen sidelights but they will be yellow.

then the high beam we have the ice white halogen option or the LED options, both been whiter in light but the halogen version will show a blue hue in the reflector as the glass is blue which produces a white light.

Didn't get a chance to get pics so will do this tomo.

For those that have not emailed please do so asap so I can get everything together and get this moving.
