Does anybody stream music via bluetooth to the car, if so how do you find the quality? Mine is trash compared to using an MMI cable (aux/USB)

No noticible difference between blue tooth and cable for me.

I’m no audiophile, but I can’t hear much difference between bluetooth and aux lead.

I stream every day via bluetooth & I actually quite like it. My phone is never plugged in. I like it. I have Spotify & set the quality to the highest setting. Hopefully this counter effects any quality lost via bluetooth.

Depends on which phone you have as to the protocols (and quality). I find it good enough but wired is always better (and CD should be better still)

Yeah I was wondering if it was my phone. Using the aux is fine but I have a USB stick plugged into the MMI slot under the arm rest and an sd card in the glove box slot.
It would be nice to use my phone as a 3rd source without having to unplug the USB.

I have a Oneplus Two so cheaper Chinese phone. I'll test with my friends Galaxy S7 over the weekend and also make a audio recording to see if the difference is noticeable to share.

(90% of the time I am listening to music from usb/sd card and not the radio)

Thanks for the responses.
