Thougths about DIY haldex unit filter cleaning and oil change?

Hi All

Saw the video below where a guy recommend changing the oil in a haldex gen 5 unit every 20.000km/13.000mi. What are your thoughts about this interval and doing the oil change yourself? Please share if you have done it yourself, was it as easy as shown in the video?

I'm asking because I know the service interval here in Denmark is every 30.000km and I don't even think that the first service includes a oil change and filter cleaning of the haldex unit.

That said, I think it looks like a simple job that I could imagine doing myself every 20-30.000km, especially after tuning the car.

Lots of people recommend all sorts of oil interval changes...........the guy below did his, sent the oil away for analysis and the results were the oil was fit for purpose to the recommended intervals........funny that. Unless you have particularly harsh conditions or you just enjoy doing it then why bother, mine was done at 30k miles and the oil looked like used oil should, no issues (so far ) with my haldex.

I talked to the tech whilst he was doing it and being OK with a spanner it wouldn't take me >30mins if I was bothered getting the car jacked up.
