Me and my mates wife actually got him on NTV (the hidden camera in the house and numerous pranks beforehand bit) of Noels House Party. Ended up with a full brass band marching into his house at the end.

Loved mine like this, parents skipped it when having a garage clear out years later. Wish I’d kept it, they go for decent coin on eBay

What's pogs?
As for the lemonade lorry (or ginger lorry in some areas of Scotland) we got Bon Accord or Alpine lorries - ah the memories.
Alpine brought out a "special edition" Peach Lemonade for the royal wedding............... the one in the '80s that is.

You’d play against another player both put 5 or 10 down and try and turn them over by throwing one at them whatever you flip you kept

I've still got some of mine, including World Cup 1982 from memory as well as the Club footie ones too.
The one you have above was for WC 1986 iirc? I remember faking illness at school to get home and watch the Israel away game live one afternoon lol.

Really lol
Yeah Mexico 86.
Don’t think I ever completed a football one, only a Back to the Future one that my gran sent away the form with a postal order for the ones I needed. Wasn’t allowed to tell my parents that she’d done it!

This was the same gran that wanted to take me to get my (mums) car fixed before my parents came home from work. Having crashed it 1 week after passing my test. £900 worth of damage and in the body shop for a week, she thought it would be sorted in a few hours, bless her!

Grandparents rock!
Sadly all four of mine are long departed but mine gave me cash for 4 new tyres when I got my first car, which came with 4 different remoulds on it.

Yeah mine too, sure I got an exhaust once lol.

I remember grandparents babysitting on a Saturday night, letting me stay up late to watch TJ Hooker and Hunter with Irn Bru and salt n vinegar squares. Them were the days!

homemade go karts

I remember playing football by an old ladies house, she wasnt happy so phoned the police. By the time the police arrived we had stopped playing football and decided to make a go kart.

Police come down the road just as me and a mate are walking down the road with a claw hammer! Told us it was an offensive weapon! I was only young!

I then went on to use the hammer to try and remove the wheels from an old pram and sunk the claws into the top of my head as I swung it back for the first hit!

When cars had chokes

Was talking to someone yesterday about cars with chokes funnily enough.
Last car I had with one was a brand new Ford Escort in 1989 / 1990.
