EPC Light?

Was driving the other day, and as I came out of a tight bend, I accelerated in second gear. As I did so, the car seamed to slightly stutter, and I thought I'd hit a bit of black ice.

Straight away the EPC light came on, but the car was driving normally. Got my destination, not too much further down the road, turned it off, and back on again, and it's been fine ever since. No EPC Light.

Has anyone else had experience of this, and what was the cause? The car is due out of warranty in March, but as it's not come on again, I don't know whether to book it into the dealer, as there is now no fault light, and it would just waste a day of my time.

If it was me, I'd boom it in with Audi to run a check on it

Should have an error logged in the ecu if there was a fault...Get it booked in for a scan

I had this fault the other week, after an install of Stage 1 software and a heavy acceleration. EPC light, stuttering etc. Fault code Cylinder misfire. I have replaced spark plugs the other day, and plan to replaced ignition coils also, just to be safe.
