Calling all A3 2.0TDI 150 S-tronic owners....

I just want to know what you think of your cars in general as I am waiting "patiently" to collect mind next week!

Also what kind of mileage will I expect to see, I travel mostly motorways and a few A roads - admittedly I drive like an absolute pansy most of the time as my commute is 70 miles a day and I can't really afford not too!

It's a bit different at the weekends though

Fabulous car. I'll be regretting getting 1.6 TDI manual for the next 4 years. Should've gone for 2.0 TDI S-Tronic.

I did want the manual to be honest but the deal on the S-tronic was too good to miss, I've never had an automatic so I hope I don't regret that decision! I did test drive the 1.6 but it just felt a little gutless compared to the 2.0l, I'm going from a 1.5 DCI Qashqai so I wanted something with a bit more get up and go whilst hopefully retaining a fairly decent MPG.

It's still a lovely car mate, I love the Saloon - I'd have had one in a second if it wasn't for fact I need a hatchback for the gear I have to lug around with me!

I did get very lucky with my build to be honest, I got the spec I wanted (bar the DSG but we'll see how that goes...) and it was just sitting in a showroom up in Scotland, the offer was too good to pass up so I bit the bullet.

I specifically wanted a Saloon because I love the looks! Don't worry about S-Tronic, it is ****** amazing and they've sorted the jerkiness with new 7-speed unit from what I've felt compared to previous 6-speec.

Had 2 now in the last 3 years and its a great car, good all rounder, however getting to the stage I m tempted to get it remapped. Great car for long or short journeys.
