Facelift Post Pics Of Your Facelift A3/S3 8V In Here

My Sportback reg was cloned twice
Yeah I saw the pic of you behind it! Didn't realise it was twice.

You gave up blanking it when you were selling and now surprisingly don't bother with the new one?

Got a speeding ticket in 2 weeks ago for the Sepang doing 88 mph in a 70 mph zone..... Forwarded the buyers details on to the police

We'll see if you can resist the urge lol

Ha ouch! Wonder if it really was the buyer or is someone still rocking around with cloned plates of it!

Needed a bit of clean after a couple of weeks..

Then took the obligatory garage photos to admire my hard work - colour looks so different under different lights..

Do your rear indicators sweep within the two red lines? It looks like they do. My 3 door has the sweeping indicators above the rear lights.

Here is my S3 Black Edition SB in Ara Blue.
Went with roof rails for that estate look.

A question do any of you "Avant" or to mere mortals "Estate/Shooting Brake looking cars use the roof rails? I have only seen them used as ski racks in my neck of the woods ( Vancouver B.C. ) and there are not too many ski areas in the UK apart from Aviemore that get any snow and even that area is a bit hit and miss.

Aesthetics 90% of most buyers me thinks mate....the Sportback roof line is as flat as a Witches.....Teet......Roof Rails make it look slightly more curvaceous.... Buxom......like ye ken....lol

And don't forget Glenshee too, which is less windy than Aviemore :cold:

But your point is correct, especially when compared to your neck of the woods. We're overdue a return trip to Van and Whistler (depressed we can't this winter) so I guess I'll need to make do with Eurosport, Ski Sunday and the Winter Olympics on the TV :sorrow:

I had roof rails on my Sportback and I didn't use them once in the two and a half years I owned it! I have a roof box in the shed, but as the kids are grown up now I don't use it anymore.

I specked them purely for the appearance.

Mine are purely for aesthetics.
I am not a fan without them.

Same, I literally can’t stomach a Sportback without the Roof Rails. It’s amazing how different the car looks with / without them.

Looks wise all the way, to some people that may sound nuts but it’s generally how strongly I feel about it

I have to agree that San Marino blue is truely stunning. Your sons M4 comp looks great. It is a car I will strongly consider for when our S1 goes, although it would be an M3 for me all day over an M4 (I bet you say it’s an M3 your son has!)

I prefer the shape of the M3 as well its a bit more balanced looking with a smaller overhang at the rear, it's a company car and he's only got it for 6 months but l am sure he'll get fed up with it long before then, but l also love the lunar silver like leather in it..... I think contrasting leathers add a touch of theatre to any cars interior
