What Hp gains can I see from converting to E100 fuel on a k04 hybrid with 350whp on pump gas?

Im serious dude :search:
Me too :)

In all seriousness we in the UK don't really have access to anything other than pump fuel (99ron)... obvs E85 etc can be got if you try hard enough but generally not used on road cars..

E85 requires bigger fuel injectors so I would assume the same for E100... you would need to upgrade your fuel lines and delivery system... you will need to deliver 20-25% more fuel using E85

Are there any known hybrids running ethanol? Dont think ive seen it before, would be very interesting to try. But it is expensive in the long run, 98octane is 1,4 gbp/L and e85/e100 is 2,7 gbp/L.

Just wanted to know if we are talking 42hp gains or 100hp+ on a hybrid.

Was gonna say Max has probably done this... quite extreme of course...

Not sure you have quite got the relevance to 42.

Not the original hitch hikers guide to the galaxy but you get the idea. You don't even know that you have 350whp it's not been mapped yet. That is quite a figure for a hybrid .What turbo are you using?
As stated above you would have to change the injectors and mapping and make sure the whole fuel system is happy with E100 fuel.

Just want to know what gains there is by converting to ethanol if u have 350whp on gasoline, not what fuel hose i should use and how the universe was created

There will be some gains.... (although given the extra work to get fuelling system sorted you could argue if its worth it on a K04)

Happy now? :)

Honestly dude... this is a primarily UK based forum... we don't have that shizzle here so its unlikely you will get an answer unless Max pops up on here (he is/was a member) or follow the link to the TT forum and see whats what there or track him down on a US based forum...

Oh you dont? Didnt know... its widely used on track or tuned cars in scandinavia so strange u dont have it. If a car around here has 500+ hp its probably 80% chance its running ethanol i bet.

Will forward my question to norwegian forums and post back when I perform any actions on this

Just woundering why couldn't you get 350whp with a hybrid turbo and pump fuel? I'm only asking as i don't know why that wouldn't be possible.
Because 350whp would be over 400 at the flywheel

Most hybrid setups struggle to manage 350 at the flywheel

we get this in the uk.
to be fair I didn't know magic stuff existed.
Magicoctane

and you can fit these for extra "boost"
