Anybody have the matrix headlamp system?

Have them myself and wouldn't be without them - they really are amazing. With that said I think the question is how much they're worth (for you) if you're choosing them for another option/feature - e.g. I would rather have the B&O sound system instead of the Matrix LED if my budget wouldn't allow both.

If you do a lot of driving in the dark on unlit roads then I'd say go for it, I haven't used them a massive amount (it was just an option I fancied having) but when I have, they're good at what they do.
What's the spec of your car as it stands just nowTrying to decide if it's worth the extra and would like some feedback if anyone has them.

Best options if you want sell on are
Technology package, bang&Olufsen, pano-roof, metallic paint, and most of all S-tronic
Now if you have all of the above go for the matrix candles, if not consider the above firstly

I don't have them on mine, although I was planning on specc'ing on a scratch build.....had a very similar system on my last car (Mercedes CLS) and it was very, very good. However, having spent 2 months in my S3, with a variety of driving, I do not really feel I am missing out too much (once I remembered that I had to do the whole full beam on/off thing myself again!)......

As it stands, Tech pack, Comfort pack inc B&O, Pan roof and folding mirrors In Tango Red metallic. I've opted for the 2.0tdi 150 with a manual shift, If i was getting the S3 I'd go for the S-tronic but I don't think the diesel warrant's the extra cost.
I'm not 100% if the Tango is worth the extra £550 over the Ibis though... Myself and the partner spent the day going round dealerships comparing the colours but I'm leaning towards the Tango as I think it compliments the Sportback very well.
Matrix candles is a no brainer then,. Matt aluminium roof rails they will set off the Tango red nicely
Absolutely... the roof rails finish off the sportback very nicely.. I make full use of mine and they certianly compliment Misano red so sure Tango would also work well!
Jungle
I have them on my S3 and they are amazing. I live in a rural area in the southeast and I drive on unlit country lanes and it’s like driving in daylight. I also use the Motorways and they work great on them as well . That said I also have the B&O sound system and it’s very good.
