I've just purchased Brembo discs and ATE ceramic pads, a lot less brake dust by all accounts.
Still waiting on the pads to arrive, the discs are sitting here waiting until I can fit them all.
Rears will be next month

I’ll be interested to see how they go. Did you get them off Euro Car Parts? They have a 30% off sale I noticed...

Iv been running standard brembo discs and pads all round for over a year, no squeal and they stop just fine for road use

I don't go on the track so can't comment on there performance under real pressure

And I'm not really a clean freak so haven't really paid much attention to what dust comes off them either

So I just got some non-resonated sections for £160 and had them fitted and wow what a difference... the car sounds so mean under load and the S-tropic farts and bangs are pretty awesome! All in all well chuffed... it doesn’t sound like it’s too loud at all to be fair to my ear, when driving normally it’s still nice and quiet.

Yeah I will have to try and get something sorted with my GoPro I think... I keep starting it up for no reason haha... sounds properly exotic

Good choice, same exhaust as mine (apart from I kept the quad tips) and it's just right. not too loud but makes it sound like you've got something with a bit of power hidden under the bonnet.

I ordered it from here https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/172675504097

It took a few weeks to come as it came from China but when it did it was very high quality and when I fitted it, it went on perfectly and all lined up as it should as shown...

All for the bargain price of £13.50, as far as I can tell it’s the same as the 034 mount Just made by someone else with access to a machine shop

Just done this on mine, before I take it out, just wanted to clarify, I'm supposed to have this part left over :)

It was a lot easier than replacing the discs and pads yesterday! I'm too old for crawling round on the floor

Yeah that part is what you have replaced basically so should be left over, it seems like such a rubbish design compared to the new part!

Trying to catch a DSG fart in car, didn’t get it really but it’s an idea of the sound in the car

A comparison video of standard then resonated and then non resonated incase anyone wanted to see the difference

@Tashfeen It’s not something I have looked into really, is it an easy change? Does the Audi part fit or is it an aftermarket piece?

There is also an aftermarket diffuser that's been designed specifically for the B8 S4/S-Line...

It's not mass produced in China (like all the others on the market), so isn't as cheap, but it is high quality and a very straightforward upgrade (can be fitted in as little as 15 minutes)...

Filmed a little video of the exhaust driving by my house with my GoPro. Just gives a little idea of the sound, I will get a mount for the outside of the car at some point and get a proper video.

Just got some footage with a new camera mount on my car that gives a better idea of the sound.

I am surprised by how loud it can be and then how quiet it is when you are just behaving and pootling around normally.

Just a quick note to say my car is adoring this cold weather haha... it feels noticeably quicker. I can’t wait for pulley and TCU tuning time!

Just been on a long trip to london and back for the weekend and the car did 410miles on a tank in perfect comfort! I can’t believe how much of a Jekyll and Hyde the car is! Oh and anyone thinking of getting a non-res milltek should deffo get one it doesn’t drone at 75 or 85mph on the motorway...

Who has any experience of REVO dealers in the NW and who do you recommend? I have got one of the 25% off codes and am thinking I might just go stage 1+ and TCU map whilst it’s cheap... is it generic or customisable? In which case somewhere with a RR is probably best... I know there are lots of topics on this kind of thing but just thought this might be easier!

So I am booked into ADS automotive in Preston on Thursday to go REVO is +... that means I will have my tuning box available for sale... I will probably take it off this weekend if I get the chance! Let me know if anyone is interested but I will put a proper for sale post up when I get around to it!

The revo 1+ works a treat.IMO it's worth getting the SPS as well.,that way you can use 95,98 or 100RON fuel as it allows you to switch tunes for different fuel qualities

is there any drone between 60 and 70 as i spend a lot of time stuck in average speed cameras. I have seen a non resonated for sale but dont want any drone at all

I wouldn’t say so no. Once at a steady speed it’s quiet, it surprised me to be fair!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It drones only under load however and like @Carlos85 said if you are steady on the throttle you hardly notice it.
