Revo MQB Carbon Intake now in stock!

I fitted mine today but as it's got 2 pipes running parallel with the intake I had to use the bracket supplied I'm not sure if I've got it the right way or not can any one take a couple of close up shots of there's as Im worried about the metal pipe rubbing against the rubber aircon pipe which seems to be getting hot

This was how I had the brkt set up :-

Then with the intake fitted loosely it looked like there would be space for the pipe in its original position just underneath so I removed the brkt - and there was ! - pipe bolted back to original mountings and no need to use the brkt or the tie wraps. I guess with different build tolerances some will need and and some won't.

Cool - that's good thought the pics on the instructions were a bit small and very dark.

Think the tie wrap is for the two pipe on the left where they are close so the air con pipe and the coolant pipe.

Bit of an old thread but wondered if anyone with one of these has experienced and yellowing dull patches appearing on the top surface ?

Question for steve@revo... the photos in this thread show the front duct with a plain weave (1x1) Carbon Fiber, however your website shows a different weave pattern, either 2x2 or 4x4 pattern. Which pattern is being sold for this product? I prefer the 2x2 or 4x4.

@Revo Steve-W

can you tell me if the VWR600 will fit the IS38ETR? looking at the Revo site, on their intakes its offering 2 inlet hoses, one from stock and another for the 38.
Its a bit crappy if i have to end up buying a new intake because i want to use the revo stage 3 package! If it doesn't fit, ill end up with a tte525r instead.

You can use the Revo from stock air box (smaller/stock outlet size) to IS38 (or ETR hose if running Revo Stage 3) - http://www.revotechnik.com/product-details/air-filter-intake-kits/20-tsi-turbo-inlet-hose this does away with the turbo elbow completely.

Otherwise, you can run the complete Revo intake instead with the Carbon front scoop, carbon lid with much larger rear aperture and the Revo large back hose to match. We've seen 27Bhp back to back on stage 2 MQB stock airbox to the Revo full intake.
