£550 on the insurance is a bargain! I am 48, full no claims (albeit protected) and no points and I am getting quoted £900+ (theft of my car 3 years ago probably weighing heavy on those quotes). Anyway, insurance companies are a bunch of c*nts.

That’s what I thought, doesn’t stand out like the A45 I was looking at. It’s subtle in its styling, it’s just the exhaust which will give it away

Even the sports exhaust on the FL is now black and you can't see it so even that's subtle! (Personally don't like black exhausts!)

Quite like it in black, goes well if you opt for the black styling pack...means you don’t really have to clean it either ha. Sure he’s just worried il end up 12 points deep in a matter of months. Can’t go that quick driving through Edinburgh city centre

Old mans got my two brothers involved, both messaging me saying 1. Too quick and youl never ever be able to utilise the power 2. Youl draw unwanted attention as it’s too flashy 3. Fuel economy will be terrible 4. Your getting married and youl be settling down with kids so not the type of car you need 5. Nothing wrong with an S3/S5.

1. Not too quick, really damn quick but it’s not a widow maker too much of the time. You don’t have to utilise all the power on the road all the time. This is coming from someone who’s ordered a 911? Tell him to cancel the 911 and you will cancel yours.

2. Yes you will draw attention, but I’ve also seen a rise in S Line Audi’s being taken, can’t win.

3. My Dad’s A4 Allroad, 2.0TDI will just about pull 40mpg on a run, my S3 can trump that.

4. The Sportback is plenty big enough, plus you can get a matching roof box for a few hundred.

5. S3 is just as small, nearly as flashy... S5 is too expensive.

Personally, I do not see the VC being anything special as you still have to use the screen on the dash. Only when it is a true VC like the TT or R8, will it appeal to me.

How is it not a true VC? They are all the same thing except you get an extra screen on the other Audis. You don't have to use the screen either, just keep it hidden. I wouldn't want to use just the VC to enter destinations for navigation for example, so you get extra functionality by having an extra screen.
