So I decided to take my car for a retune. It was pushing 250bhp to start with so a very healthy engine so you can imagin I was happy with that.

After a quick software upgrade I now have 295bhp and 632nm of torque.

Dpf still installed and so is the cat. Nothing else done to the car.

Next step I think is some new wheels...

I spoke to Richard at the shop and he recommended getting 19" over 20" mainly for the ride comfort.

What do people think?

you won't notice much difference between 19" and 20" - i haven't, get big wheels :)

I'm only running 18" at the moment but with huge tyres so looks a bit rubbish. Any idea what offset I would need?

Strange when I've been looking 19" where cheaper for tyres.

Good increase you will enjoy the torque more than the bhp. You can get away with 20's, just.

21s in comfort aren't comfortable and in dynamic they aren't barable for more than half an hour at a time. It's even worse if your a passenger and you don't have the steering wheel to hold and stabalise yourself with as it's far too bumpy and makes you feel sick.

If you look here and select 18/19/20" it will give you the OEM size specification for each wheel type.

I'm running on R20 and don't think that I need more
My setup is 10J wide with ET35 front and back

Mine doesn't do anything changing them modes with the suspension. It's just the gearbox as far as I'm aware and the steering? In which case shouldn't make much difference what size I get in that respect.

I won't be going for 21s, 20s is big enough .

Only thing I will say about the torque is it's moved further up the rev range. Not sure if that's bad or good but I think I'd of preferred it to sort of start in the same place if that was at all possible. Anyway time will tell for that..

Not lowered at all this?

Looks very nice. Im after the concave look if I can. I just wish I knew what to go for. I certainly didn't think I'd be able to use 10" wide rims. I was thinking 9" would of been pushing it.

Ive asked the question on the forum about the suspension as mine definetly softens up in comfort mode and i dont have adaptive suspension so i wonder if its adjustable dampers.

I'm pretty sure mine does nothing lol. There is an option out there that does adjust the dampness but I'm sure mine doesn't because when you go into individual you can only adjust the steering rate and the gearbox shift rate I have nothing for the ride.

Iv seen some of the Audi rotors in a very deep concave style but I'm not sure of what size and offset they were or where I can buy them lol.

It's on dynamic setup on MMI and it's lowered a little bit ,something about 6mm with VCDS , didn't want to go above because it's an Allroad :)
I have 10 inch wide with 265/40 Pirelli P Zero AO tyres and at first did get a little rub on the front but now everything is ok
I have the Ispiri ISR 6 wheels and are the same as Avant Garde M510 and if i was to choose again I would take the R21 ones like the video

My car is a BiTdi and it's running wit 750 Nm torque , been loving it from the start

That video doesn't work bud..

It must just be my car that doesn't do anything when choosing what setting on the mmi. Have you got air suspension fitted?

Yes it's a allroad
Do you have the raise function on the mmi in the top corner?

Tom?

Aye he is good. I'm still getting used to how it feels at the minute. Torque is reduced lower down the rev range and I'm not sure if that's made a difference to my fuel economy yet but I'll drive it for a bit longer and see how I get on ha.

He said you were going to race your car after the map to which my reply was "how old is he 12?" Haha. I was only messing about like lol.

Did you go "racing" afterwards?

How's your car feeling after the map. You got stupid gains from yours.

Yes that's me. No I did a charity event in a banger though. My friend and I were going to have a drive but haven't had time. Not a race though. The torque is crazy, the power it makes over the revo tune is massive. I liked the revo tune but this is just even better.

Ah right lol..well I hope I didn't upset him with that comment ha.

Yeh I am happy with the remap but iv never had a before and after rolling road before only after so this is the first time I've been able to see where the torque curve etc has moved too.

Thinking about performance panel filter next.. I used to always get them in my other cars but I wasn't sure with this one as iv had mixed reviews about it letting more debris into the engine as well as extra air flow..

Wheels next I think.
