A sportback and a facelift...
Certainly seemed like it haha... kind of put me off but of course with the extras will be miles better looking

I haven't gone for the black or alu styling packs, but wouldn't consider mine a poverty spec, the options were still circa £12.5k before discount
Mine is the same - no Ali or black styling kits but not a basic spec.

Hey Dunes7, not only are our cars getting built on the same day, but I think we will have the only RS3's without Balck or Alu packs.
Its in Oldham Greater Manchester theres a VW Dealer next to me it was having cars dropped off there.. theres a new Audi dealership opened one week ago 1 mile away.. Its a guess but maybe they were going there next...

Nope mine also has neither black or Alu packs.
Gone for Mythos black with Titanium rotors and privacy glass.
Black with black pack is simply way too much black, and the Alu pack is too much bling!!

As well as my age it was also cost and thinking how popular they are, prior to the pictures published over the last couple of days by AudiNutta I had not seen a single car without the black or alu packs, having seen the "standard" car I think the front has a bit more definition, however its all down to personal taste and I am sure that if you fancy a change you could get those areas wrapped for less than £800.

They are certainly all pop off plastic parts, will be very cheap to have wrapped.

Called into my local to pick up a few parts, and this was parked out the front. Looks great, but it does need the BSP and rear tints. It did seem to be a fairly basic spec one, but nice to see one in the flesh.
Looks poor. Needs black pack and tints defo, then maybe the black upgraded wheels. Options do mount, don't they...
I like it like that, Although I did spec the privacy glass. The black pack in my opinion is common as, the front grill stands out so much more in the silver or matt ali. But it's a personal taste thing. They are all going to look epic!

I definitely prefer the chrome, That one may well be poverty spec, but the lack of ali or black pack doesn't mean they all are, it is only an £800 option...

I've seen a couple with the 174MPH increase for £1600, but without the sports exhaust or mag ride etc! I saw a totally standard Saloon, all except for the speed increase and extended leather... really odd. Audi must literally randomly select these specs within a price range, strange options.
Make that 4I have gone for the same, no alu or black pack, so that's 3
I think I haven't even got a flat bottomed steering wheel

Popped into Poole Audi and they had a Ara blue Sportback and a black Saloon.
For anyone thinking of Ara blue, make sure you see this in person first. It looks so different in the flesh than in any photos and to be honest I'm glad I didn't get it. The Sportback looked very plain with no styling pack. Quite liked the Saloon in all black.

Doc, I presume you mean all the people who have ordered black and alu packs

Personally I like the plain Ara blue and the basic alloys which are in my view in keeping with the understated design of the car. I agree that for Nardo the black pack is a must, along with the optional black wheels, black Windows and pano roof.

Same no black pack or alu pack...looked good without it...bought SaloonI have gone for the same, no alu or black pack, so that's 3
They are identical to specs that Bristol Audi have, strange.
How come the one was on a 17 plate? People are mad to register now just before a plate change!!
