Hi new to this

Looking at upgrading the radio to navigation plus rns in a 2010 A3 s-line

Does the unit need a key code and will I require the Gps antenna and where can I buy one from

Maybe wiring changes depending if you have Bose and coding via VCDS. Search on here for threads there's 100's

yes it is mate

ok
system is in and coded all is working well, apart from Aux socket in centre console
i know that i need to remove the pins and place them in the 32 pin socket (on order)
my question is i have a 30 pin iPod socket in the glove box this is working fine but will this be affected by getting the aux working

for your Aux to work you need to move 3 wires from the bblue block in your quad lock in the back off sat nav.
B1>22
B3>21
B7>06
( 22 21 06 onto your 32 pin av connector ) as for this interferring with iphone that i am not sure

Should not be an issue as the Ipod will be coming in on the CD changer port and the AUX is seperate.
