It would help if you mentioned if the car has been lowered or not, wouldn't help me as I'm useless but would help someone in the know

Its Stock now but Will be lowered as much so it Will look god...

Not a popular fitment tbh but std 17" Avus wheels are 7.5" wide and ET32... RSTT (genuine) wheels are 18x8 ET33

With 10mm spacers up front and 15mm at the rear on 225/40/18 they fill the arches nicely...

Use this to work out if your proposed wheel will fit...

Using the std wheels as a ref and your proposed wheel size...

I have 235/40/18's on the rear of mine on RSTT's... the tyres just rub the inner arch liner when loaded and mine is 25mm lowered..

and be totally impractical to drive with rubbish ride quality if going too low...

Won't find many on here that have done that...

Looks like it Can be done, with a lot of streetch in the tires... just dont now if its worth the pain just to get that 19 on there....
Thanks for your time

Stick with 18 inch wheels, you will get much better ride quality, less issues and it will probably work out cheaper for the wheels and tyres.

You will confuse the haldex if you put to much of a bigger wheel on the rear than on the front not sure how much bigger you can go

I have 18s with 9,5" both front and rear on mine 50mm lowered.

But with 225/40 tires.

No idea what ET, but spaced 10mm both front and rear.

First plan was putting on 19" 8.5 and 9.5 with 235/35 on the rear and 215 on the front...lowering the car 40/30.. but like u guys say 19 Will effect the ride qualiti...so now im thinking 18'....

Yes i know the comfort aspect of it Will not be the same.. i know like to se it Stock...

Looks like i am going for af set of 19" anyway.. both 8.5inch and with 215/35 or 40 so im getting a bit of stretch on the tires.... not sure about How much i Will lower the car yet..

Not cool .

Yes it will fit, and no it won't rub. You'll probably need a 10 or 15mm spacer to account for the additional width of the rims to clear the suspension though. FYI, I previously ran 19x8.5s ET35 with 235/35 tyres and 15mm spacers on the rears with no issues. And more recently, 18x9.5s ET35 with stretched 225/40s and 30mm of spacing on the rear, and that doesn't seem to catch, but I've got the suspension on the hardest setting atm. lol

Someone with 225/40/18 8.5 wide, ET35? How is the clearance to strut up front?

willtheyfit does not help me

They will be close, but it clears the strut. Nothing a set of 10mm spacers can’t fix to fill your arches up.

I have se of 17mm spacers in front and set of 20mm spacers on the rear, i will machine them down to the right dimension.

Hello! Can a 16 inch wheels be attached to S3(8L) ? with it S3 is PCD100 but have you converted to PCD 112/120/etc... using a converter?
