New A5 Sportback ordered

Hi all,

My first post here but have been browsing this forum for a while before I ordered my new car.

I've ordered the following last weekend. The car hasn't been ordered by dealer yet as they messed up my finance application so I don't have a build week yet.

A5 Sportback S line 2.0 TDI quattro S tronic

• Daytona grey
• 'multi-spoke V' design alloy wheels

• Flat bottomed steering wheel
• Comfort and sound pack
• Tech pack
• Extended LED Interior Lighting Pack

Hi Michael

The same base spec as my car - fantastic - but with a few more bells and whistles than mine!

As a personal view, for the cost, privacy glass really enhances the look of the car.

I'm guessing a September delivery going by what others have said.

Do you mind sharing what up front cost and monthly payment/term you got - your spec is very similar to one I am thinking of going for?

Very nice spec its virtually the same as mine, mines a coupe and you've added the Driver Assistance Pack which I didn't go for, I guess you're a lot older then me and need the help at your old age driving haha

I definitely agree with Buck privacy glass with the daytona grey looks very good however I didn't spec the privacy glass from Audi, I just had the back windows tinted before I collected the car for £140 and Saved a few £'s.

Sure, I got it on PCP: 10k miles per annum, 48 months, £3000 deposit for £485 a month. What quotes have you been getting?

I got an email today from Audi saying "We're pleased to tell you that our factory has provisionally scheduled the date of week commencing Monday 24th July 2017 to begin production." which means I have a provisional build week of 30. However my dealer told me a few weeks ago it was week 36. Are these emails from Audi usually accurate?

they do vary massively - the dealer one tends to be the slot they can book but then it can be brought forward or delayed depending on cancelled orders / parts availability etc.

Same car and similar spec to mine. The quattro and gearbox are awesome! And the assistance systems are too! I definitely agree with the privacy glass though. Massive difference. I put £1000 down and pay 475 over 48months with 10k miles but i bought mine as it was coming off the loader to be a showroom car so i got a good discount. You definitely wont be disappointed.

Thanks Danny, will definitely look into getting privacy glass after collection.

Mines just left the factory so its almost 6 weeks earlier than the dealer said it would be when I ordered. Should be with me in 3/4 weeks from now so thats only 2 months from the order date.

That's about right, mine was 8 wks from order date to arrival at dealership although originally 5 wks longer.
