FYI after speaking with them directly they provided the below response....

"I don't see that happening any time soon."

Nothing more nothing less. A bit of a shame but to answer all our questions APR will not be supporting this hardware.

That's a considerable difference in size. It would seem that the size of the wheel would overwhelm the a/r of the stock exhaust manifold/turbine housing.
 
Is possible to get those turbos with mehanical wasegate for easy fit to 1.8t engine?

It has a standard mechanical/pneumatic Wastegate just like 1.8T use so no issue there.

Nice, the torque to hp ratio is 1:1, perfectly square.

Thought it had to be on a 4wd one as it's an S3. Or did you disable the 4wd to test.

For TTE420 Recommended extras would be 165bar Fuel pressure valve & intank pump upgrade.

For TTE480 as above plus RS3 8V injectors

(Both turbos require software to suit)
 
And could u give me a numbers of. Fuel injectors which u suggest install rs4 or rs3
And 165 bar fuel valve in short time I want to install them ??
 
Have you had any contact with APR about developing a tune for the 480 as they did for the 420? I know it might not be in their best interest as it will create competition for their own kit, but it would be a move to continue driving development with this platform.
Well I represent APR and quite sure they are not going to develop it as they have GTX kit. As regards TTE models I suggested to Batyr to opt for 420 model as I already prepared APR file for his car. However, he wants more power and watches for 480 model ))
 
Not sure and I don't speak for APR. But sure TTE480 is very attractive high performance stage 3 competitor but I feel massive profits in software vs hardware. I think APR are missing a opportunity and are loosing customers now not supporting.

I agree. I posted something similar in the FB group months ago, and got flamed...but here we are . I loved APR during my Mkv days, but I've moved on since my Mk6 R and going forward. Custom is the way to go IMO, get the most from your specific hardware vs. a one size fits all ots approach. United Motorsport ftw!

Just saw this in my FB feed. Nice broad torque range. I have an Mkv Gti in addition to my Mk6 R, and I've often wondered if my Mk6 R would be more fun with a different, lower duration cam. We can't take advantage of high speeds here in the U.S., so the car above would make a fun street car.

No only TFSI right now. I think SLS Tuning just adapted the pipe work its quite easy
