S1 Carbon Mirrors

I've been on the Audi Configurator and noted the S1 Competition spec car. Just checked it's standard specification and it notes in the exterior design that it has a box ticked saying "door mirror housing - carbon". Has anyone else noticed this or know if Audi are selling these as an extra now?

Think they would look good on a Daytona S1!

Would love them for our S1. I'm even thinking about getting them for our Daytona A3 as well.....I have always loved a bit of Carbon!!

How I need to see if I can find a part number

Unfortunately not. I have an A3 as well which I got CF mirrors for. They are a different size to the S1.

Thought i would revive this old thread as my work just took delivery of 1st s1 competition with the carbon mirrors. They are on back order but the part number for a set is 8XA 072 530 A 3Q0 retail price £449 thats including vat. Will post pic of them on car once i get a chance!

Look forward to seeing your picture, but at £449 they'll need to be something special! Crazy price.....I assume it is due to them being so new to the market, as the likes of the A3/S3 CF mirror caps are something like £340.
