Audi Ring Replacement

Evening All,

I have been thinking of change the rings on my car to black. Has any one done this and if so how and where did you get them from?

There's a fair few people with black rings kicking about raywell designs or ebay for your black rings

The rears are stuck on so peel off old, clean up and stick new ones on

The Fronts are clip in but if you break them up in place they will come out piece by piece and save front grill removal, there does seem to be an issue with some of the ebay front rings being slightly smaller

I carbon wrapped mine. B8 and B8.5 have different front rings

Thanks for the advise, never knew there was a difference in size between the models. Can any one recommend a seller?

The ones where the tabs are parallel to the badge are for the B8 and the ones where the tabs are at an angle are for a B8.5. The B8.5 badge only goes on one way you see as it is not symetrical

Mines a b8.5 @DeanoC but to me it looked like the rings went in either way.

The b8 ones do clip in but do not line up perfectly on the mount. Hang on i have some pics of both together

B8.5 has larger inner loops and do not have as a defined ridge. They are also not symetrical vertically and a slightly different size.
