Velvet Purple S1 inbound.

So I've only just signed up on here. In 2014 I had a Daytona Grey S1 with every option except keyless. Loved that car and it's been a while since I owned one.

Anyway my Velvet Purple S1 arrives at the dealer next week.

The spec:

Quattro interior
Quattro exterior
Design pack (Panoramic roof)
Bose
Carbon mirrors
Black styling pack
Centre armrest
Heated seats
Comfort pack
Privacy glass
Satellite navigation

Think I've missed a couple of options but I'll update this thread as I go!

Yeah it was on H&R lowering springs which give a nice subtle drop. It also had 10mm spacers on each corner just to help fill the arches a touch.

I just can't wait to see pictures of the purple one! I should have some next week some time from the dealer. I pick it up on the 11th.

It's kinda complicated. Not strictly no. It's just easier if I say that lol.

How did you find the H&R springs? Any regrets over fitting them?

Keep looking at springs but something makes me say no!

Quite honestly had no regrets. The car is slightly firmer for obvious reasons but its not unbearable by any means. The drive select still seems to have a nice effect on the dampening of the suspension and you get a nicer look from them.

For the money they cost I would 100% recommend. On top of that, if you really don't like it you can always swap them back and sell them on. They'll always fetch god money used!

It is dusty in the pictures, I'm currently waiting for a few more bits to arrive at the dealer including the carbon mirrors. Cant wait to pick it up!

The Dairy milk was a small 'Cadbury Purple' touch from the sales guy who I know very well. He set up a mini easter egg hunt for Dairy Milk bars inside the car - a nice little personal touch.

In other news the Milltek cat back turned up at the end of last week. I have opted for the valved system with polished oval tips to retain the OEM look. GoPro footage to follow as well as some installation pics.
