Just finished upgrading the plain grey rear valence on my S7 to the CF one supplied by these guys here. Delivery was about 10 weeks as the part is made to order. Installation was pretty easy, although removing the old valance was a bitch LoL.

Some pictures for those interested :racer:

Very nice! Have you got CF wing mirrors and inlays to match?

That looks awesome :) x

Great work

Saw a Sepang S7 when i ordered my S5 and decided that I loved the CF with the Sepang and Black Edition.

So close to buying a pair of CF mirrors but backed out and haven't got round to it again

The S7 wasn't available as a Black Edition when l ordered it (It is now) so all the chrome has been wrapped in mat black.

That CF valance is beautifully made, although at that price it ought to be! Don't see many S/RS7 around.

The price includes the purchase of the OEM valance from Audi, as these guys then apply a CF skin followed by lacquer and a polish.

I've not seen an RS7 in my area for a long time, though there is an RS6 potting around.

S7s I've only seen on the motorway, nothing local.

I put (the same) CF mirrors on my A7 when l had it, and then swapped these to the S7. Since then l've added some CF bits over the 15 months I've had it. When the Sepang is clean, the exterior CF bits just make the whole car pop and look that little bit different. I like it, though CF is not to everyone's taste :racer:

Great mod, love that flat bottomed carbon steering wheel. Is that the standard one that comes with the S7 or where did you get it from?

I've seen some flat bottomed steering wheels but they don't look as nice.

Well the S7 has a standard round leather sports wheel (3 spoke) although for £250 you can upgrade it to the flat bottom leather wheel. RS7 has a standard Flat one.

This one was a find on eBay about 18 months ago. The guy I purchased from said he got it from Germany, but didn't have any other info.

Audi do not produce any carbon steering wheels, so it would have originally been a flat bottom wheel, then had full customisation applied to it.

There is a guy on eBay here, selling similar

Saviour! Been looking to change to flat bottomed wheel, when I actually get my hands on an S7, and have not found much information on it. Does the steering wheel have the same functionality as the original? Thanks.

Yes same functionality as original.

Note that the wheel badging can easily be changed to what ever designation you want. This matters because you can buy pretty much any flat bottom wheel, with the same multi-function controls, from any late model audi and it will fit your S7. So it does not have to be an RS7 wheel you fit.

Finding the right airbag can be a bitch though. Have a look at this thread for more info (Note A/S/RS6 = A/S/RS7 when it comes to the C7/7.5 models) :racer:

Great, thanks for getting back to me so soon and for the info. The more I look at your mods the more and more I think what a great looking car it is now! Asked my Dealer to look out for an S7 but they are hard to come by!

How did you manage to get that gear knob fitted ? Where did you bought it from?

I purchased the gear knob via the Parts Request tab at the top of this page, it comes complete with leather boot. Its a fairly easy fit.

This is the part number (for the facelift S7 2015 onwards) 4G2713139AGIBR (Note, its not cheap!)

If your going the eBay route, be aware that not all RS knobs are equal. There are different fittings across the model range due to different gearboxes. You need either an RS7 or an RS6 facelift knob for the facelift S7.

There are some out there, just hard to come by. Autotrader is your friend

There is not a huge modding scene for the C7/7.5 range in the UK, and I tend to stick to visual modifications rather then going down the ECU Stage 1 tune etc.

Most of my carbon stuff comes from these guys

There is a very active US forum for the C7/7.5 cars that is always worth keeping an eye on here :racer:
