VCDS mods to make today!

Hi all,

I have the use of a VCDS cable today later on after work.

As I'm at work I only have limited time to try and dig out some notes to make some changes.

So far I am thinking of:

- Global window close visual confirmation
- Visual parking display (rear sensors fitted only)
- Possibly lowering the high beam assist activation speed

If anyone has these written down anywhere I would greatly appreciate it!

Also anything else nice that I may wish to add to my list above?

And bottom is the speed it will switch off at when you're slowing down?

Thinking of setting on speed to 32kph as you and off speed at 24kph if so!

Not sure if the summertime change automatic thing worked.. My MMI time menu option still has the manual summertime yes / no box and nothing mentioning automatic. Do I need to do the three finger reset? Only thought of that a few hours later

I read that it reduces the life of your discs and pads so stuck with moderate.

You can enable it if you have lane assist which is the triangle camera on the windscreen above the rear view mirror as that camera is HBA capable otherwise you need the camera that's built into the front of the interior rear view mirror housing.

Dynamic front indicators are in conjunction with Matrix LED headlights. They're the same as the rear indicators (sweep from left to right/right to left)

Lol Totally on you fella. There is a 30 page thread detailing VCDS mods on this forum and 100’s if not 1000’s of YouTube videos..... and this is my fault?!

Only reason I am gonna sodding help you Now is because with your DRL’s working incorrectly you are a potential danger to other road users! Post up a FULL and UNEDITED auto scan first. Let’s see if you are using genuine VCDS and go from there.
