New Audi S4 - Am i missing anything?

Hi Everyone, i'm new to the Audi Sport forum and great to be here. I placed my order for a new Audi S4 Avant on Saturday and just wanted to get peoples opinions on the spec and if there is anything i have missed which i might regret - i've included the details below;

AUDI S4 Avant
Metallic Black Paint
Carbon Inlays
Black styling park - mirrors still chrome
Light and Vision pack
Adaptive S Sport suspension with damping control
Flat bottomed steering wheel
Roll up blinds
Rear side airbags
Electric wing mirrors
B&O Sound system
Quattro with sports diff
Red brake calipers
Driver assistance pack
19" v spoke wheels
Electric front seats
Hill hold
Privacy glass
Virtual cockpit

I know i have a lot of options but i want this car to be perfect for us for at least the next 3 years so dont want to miss anything i may regret - any help / comments appreciated

Your going to get alot of opinions in here.

Tech Pack? You get a bigger screen in the middle / Audi Phone Box / VC (But see you've got that already) / Audi Connect for 3 years.

Sounds like it will be a hell of a car, and in the best colour.

Great spec!

I think the big screen + Audi Connect for 3 years are both standard on the S4?

VC and Phone Box are separate additional options.

Also, is the phone box worth having? not sure on the cost of it

Do you have a wireless chargeable phone? If so then its useful. Otherwise it kinda just uses up space in the armrest. I only have it as it was included in a tech pack.

Sounds like you have everything!
 
Why can't we have black pack with chrome mirrors in the UK! Grrrr

Amazing spec car!

@bleedsoff you can!....if you spec metallic Black paint, just not with any other colour!

Sorry didn't realise that about the colour. Anyway the S4 I bought I had no choice. Just emailed my dealer to see if he can sort something.
 
Quick question, is the premium being asked for the S5 over the S4 worth it? It's all just cosmetic isn't it? I'm a current BMW 430D GC driver and looking seriously at the A5/S5 for my next motor. But over here, the S4 is €6K cheaper than the S5 (S5 pricing is still to be announced), the S4 is €69K here.

I believe the only difference between the two is the styling. So not sure what your paying extra for. I was two in that dilemma. Originally went it for an S5 came out with an S4.
 
S4 Drives better I think, strangely. Has better suspension set up and feels more balanced.

I'd add Dynamic Steering to the options. Got bad press, at least recommend you try it (one with and one without). I think it is leaps better than standard steering on the B9 S4's (and S5's).

You going for Mythos or Black metallic? I thought Black Metallic came with black Black mirrors and Mythos with chrome (black styling)?

Parking Assistance Pack for the 360 degree cameras?

Storage Pack, especially for the large extra compartment to the right of the steering wheel?

Many people would say the Pano Roof?

If you drive with two mobile phones in the car (you and a passenger) the Audi Phone Box can be useful, because it includes the advanced bluetooth, which allows two phones to be connected at the same time. This is why I got it.

Are you able to connect that second phone just for media? The Mrs wants to play her music but not have her calls routed through the car

I think so, they will both connect but then in the Connection Manager you can choose which connected device (if any) to use for 1st phone, 2nd phone, media player, etc.

If I remember, next time I'm in the car I'll take a pic of the screen.

I'm also in similar boat. Was looking for a4 with toys but couldn't find one so I'm back to ordering. I've picked the 218 quattro tronic. Daytona. Tech pack. Matrix. Head up, virtual. Driver assistance and parking advanced. Adaptive sports suspension. Extended LED. I remember last time I configured I used the light and vision pack or vision pack with matrix separate.
Anyway two main questions, I really wanted a dual clutch car,this is my first because of the quick changes but someone said the tiptronic is just as fast. Is this correct?
Also in reality having these options, are they worth it? Sorry the second one was supposed to be is the damper control worth it? What does it do?if you have sports suspension selected in options does the damper control make it stiffer? Lower? And then if you had comfort with damper control does that make it even softer? No one at Audi really has a clue,none that I have spoken to anyway.

Oh and the guy at the top,parking pack advanced. Gives all the safety features. You can't have tour pack with P P Advanced. The two go together really.

Thats a great spec. If you are missing anything I'd suggest it was the 277 engine!

Adaptive damping can be set firmer of softer (or automatic) It depends how you want to drive and your environment. I live in London, have sports suspension, but set it to 'comfort' in town, due to all the bumps. I would always have adaptive but then I drive an S. The ride on the new B9's is a definite step up on my B8, but Ive only driven the B9 S4 and S5, that have sports suspension.
 
I've considered the big engine, it's just that I've never had a car with those quick sporty gear changes, so having a dual clutch was at the top of the list really but some people have said the tiptronic is just as fast. Not sure if this is true. Drive my friends rs3 that was quick but then one Audi guy told me that's a tiptronic buy with different mapping. Will the 272 feel like a sporty box? I was thinking to keep the 218 and then maybe map it up a little but still stay within its limits
 
Watched YouTube videos of the 272 the gearbox seems a little slow. But the s tronic seems quick and exciting. And the difference in power doesn't seem that much that I would miss it.

Difference in power is pretty significant. The 272 is seriously quick. Are you going for Quattro? Why not test drive both rather than watch a Youtube video?!
