I have had my steering wheel re-worked with a thicker rim finished in carbon fibre. It is quite striking, but now I wish that I had grey leather to co-ordinate with the moon silver leather seats and accents in the car...

Might anyone be interested in buying mine so that I can start again? Price is what it cost me - £430 exchange including delivery anywhere in the EU plus a £300 deposit pending return receipt of your wheel (which must be the standard 8V RS3 wheel with paddles and RS3 badge)

Stunning wheel.

You should post it up on the sales forum, as it will fit pretty much any later model Audi, not just the RS3

GLWS (I already have one!):racer:

Yes, you are right. I shall do if no takers here - the problem is that I would prefer and exchange-sale which limits me to the RS3 - and OK, and the S3 fraternity...

Yes, but likewise the wheels from the other models will also fit the RS3. The steering wheel logo is changeable.

Hi Hal.
Stunning wheel, would look awesome in my RS with mines having the Carbon inlays.
Are you in the U.K. and if so where?

No, afraid I am in France! But if you are serious, I could bring it over on my next trip that is planned for March 9-14. I will be in and around London and Chipping Norton in W. Oxford.
Certainly it would be ideal with the CF inlay pack (I do not know whay Audi do not offer a CF wheel like Mercedes do with their CF pack) - I am in the [rocess of changing my piano black trims to CF to match the wheel.

Evening,I'm from Scotland so a bit away from you, but it could still be possible if I were to meet you in London like Euston station area.
So if that was to happen, what would it cost me including my own RS wheel to you!!
What colour is the stitching on it?
Is it done in real leather & Carbon?
What year of vechile it from and mileage?
And are all steering wheel functions working as they should do?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm just keeping myself right before I decide as it's also along way down for me to meet.
I'd PM you but I don't no how to get your email from here.

Wheel originally from my RS3 new May 2016 and re-worked to give a thicker rim with proper CF matting with a red centre ring and lacquered with two-pack gloss and covered in real perforated leather with grey stitching. This is a top quality job with all multifunction buttons and paddles fully operational. The wheel was re-worked only three weeks ago.
The price is £430 exchange or, as I now have another wheel, £700 complete, both prices include shipping within the EU.

I will PM you regarding a meet at Euston - I need to check my exact times I will be in London.

Since you already have another wheel then really there's no point in me coming down into London with mines as to be honest it won't save me much with taking the price of the train ticket down and back, and the numb *** sitting on a train for hours, unless I was making a weekend of it.
£700 quid posted? Let me think about it Hal

Hal Adams what's happening regarding the wheel bud,I'm still waiting on you to PM me?
Or you having second thoughts now,if so that's fine but could you let me no please.
As I'm also bidding on an Audi R8 one.

Just sent you a PM.
Is the R8 a carbon one? Could be from the same factory tht did mine. He had one on ebay but I thought he sold it. Maybe he has another. If you end up taking the R8 one, then contact A009 as he has one on his RS3 and has all the functions connected

Yea I seen that and planning on messaging him to find out about figment.
Still not decided yet.
Also still waiting on a reply also!!!!!
So Andyt99 what's your thoughts??

Sorry.. I shouldn't influence your decision really but.. well, if we're talking the newer R8 one like is in the new TTRS, then that's the one I'd have.

Getting it working tho is a mental job and I think aoon likes that he's only one that's worked it out lol

I'll take this off your hands in a heartbeat if you don't mind shipping to Australia. I'll post mine to you as well.

I can get a shipping cost on Monday and let you know.
If you want to exchange, please confirm what model car you have please? I am assuming from your other posts it is a current 8V RS3, yes? These wheels will not directly work on the older models and the airbags are different.

Hey mate. I have a 2016 RS3 8V.

Shipping would be to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 2000

The price to Australia is:
Cost of wheel - £430
Deposit - £300
Shipping - £120 (insured air express)
Taxes and duty - 100AUD (estimated and paid by you to shippers)
Then you have the cost of returning your wheel - or forfeit the deposit.
Let me know and I will send you a PM with my bank account.

Ugh. To be honest man, for that price, I can buy the same wheel brand new from the US and keep my current wheel. Those shipping costs are a bit crazy. I bought an set of four Vossen wheels that were shipped to my door in three days for $100 AUD.
