MPSS problems, advice would be appriciated!

Hi guys haven't posted much recently as I have been abroad, but last months I changed my stock Pirelli's to MPSS or Pilot sports 4's cant remember the name but by accident my front's were ordered with a thicker profile so instead of 30's I got 35 now the problem is my front's scrape like mad on the under carriage plastic bits under heavy low speed turning surely such a small difference cant cause this?

and also no matter what rev range I am at the moment I put my foot down tractions kicks in and I have no power whatsoever, and this never happened on the Pirellis even when they were coming to the end of their life,these are meant to be the choice of tyre for our cars but frankly I am disappointed

Just for the info my car is dropped, spaced and tuned.

It's pretty important in a thread like this to know the exact tire size, so walk out to your car and figure out what it is. It's known though that Michelins tend to run wider and with a more square profile than many other manufacturers.

Also, are you lowered? How much? On stock wheels?

Also it can take several hundred miles and multiple heat cycles for new tires to achieve maximum grip.

Mpss are known to cause traction issues if you have the wider fronts.

Your basically ****** having the wrong size on front the car will be reading your rolling speeds all wrong at front and kicking traction in. Your lowered and spaced out as said mpss have Avery square shoulder.

You need to order the correct size and poss a diff brand if you want to keep spacers...

I have similar issue with the traction currently but with the normal tyres and no mods currently. Its kicking in my opinion far too much. Turnt it off, and can light all 4 wheels up if i want so that makes me think its not haldex related and there was no error codes.

You shouldn't be able to light up all four wheels if everything is fine. Unless it's seriously wet and slippery?

Well yeah, sorry. With current weather being a bit icy and slippy.
Checked all my pressures and stuff the other day and all were fine.

As soon as I had my MPSS fitted (255s up front), traction control always lights up but only seems to be for the first 10-15mins of driving. After that, seems to be ok. Never had this issue on my P-Zeros.

yes, this can cause problems.

your profile or side wall has gone from 7.1cm to 8.2cm...if we are talking about 235 wide.

this is a 3,63% of diameter difference...

sell those tyres and put the correct ones.
