Hi,

Next week I will be picking up an used 3.0TDI Avant from an Audi dealers. With this in mind what should I ask them to do prior to pick up and what goodies should I try and get them to hand over? i.e top up oil, matts, etc

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Would you have been not been better off negotiating mats, oil, touch up paint etc and ask them to see to anything you aren't happy with before agreeing to buy it? You may get some oil and a car cleaning kit thrown in. I'd be making sure all the tyres and brakes had plenty of life left in them and it wasn't due for a service anytime soon.

Agree with Ad72 - you should have negotiated all that prior to buying......

When I bought mine I got the garage to pay for a complete set of tyres as they were down to just under 2mm; in fact the fronts failed the MOT so the garage actually paid out for 6 tyres lol

Also got 1/2 tankmof diesel thrown in

Your right some of these questions should have been asked beforehand. Matts already in situ, full tank of diesel, 4x new tyres. The last service was carried out in Nov 2016. MOT till Sept 17.

Nonetheless, I'll ask the question about touch up paint. Anything else?

Sounds like you got most of it covered then upfront. Touch up paint for body and wheels is always handy
